I was thinking about adding each incarnation's first on-screen words to their pages just like their last words, like "Run!" For Nine, the "New teeth" bit for Ten, etc. Thoughts?
Hide / Show RepliesIt was very short lived incarnation but should Master possessed Doctor get a folder due to be a regeneration albeit forced
Edited by Emerald1115 You can't kill me. I'm already dead inside. Hide / Show RepliesIf anything wouldn’t that be more fitting for the Master’s page, since even if it’s the Doctor’s body it’s still a version of the Master. And ultimately it seems to just be the same as the Spy Master at the end of the day.
Edited by IJosh64Does anyone else think this would look better if it were renamed to “The Doctor” instead of “Doctors”? Same with the Master’s page?
I think it's a little insulting to call a piece of the Fugitive Doctor's costume a "Frankenstein Hawaiian shirt." Her shirt is made from kente cloth, a royal and sacred fabric from southern Ghana. It adds some nice color to her outfit.
Ok, I'm not trying to start something, this is a genuine question. Since the Doctor is now a woman, what do we do with the pronouns? Him? Her? They?
Hide / Show RepliesWhy don't we give every Doctor a character sheet? Like Deadpool, Joker and Darth Vader have? It would be easier for when a new Modern Doctor debuts.
This was removed...
- We still have not seen any indication of when or if the Doctor told River his name (yet).
...under the reasoning "Yes, during their wedding. Confirmed when she can open his grave on Trenzalore."
One, River opening the Doctor's grave doesn't prove anything, as from River's perspective, "The Name of the Doctor" is AFTER the first time we know River knows the Doctor's name. And two, when did the wedding have the Doctor give River his name? I seem to recall him whispering in her ear, but that was to look into the eye of the Teselecta robot, wasn't it?
Edited by 151.230.167.146Jack mockingly called the Ninth Doctor a U-Boat captain for lack of blending into Blitz-era London, but was it actually what his leather jacket was supposed to be? And besides, a leather jacket's a leather jacket. If someone got some plain jeans and t-shirt from the 1980s, would that be anachronistic?
if the Classical Doctors and the Revival Doctors have gotten their own separate pages, shouldn't we just have "All Doctors" and "2005 revival Doctors" folders here and remove one-twelve and the mysterious one.
The Companions have something similar
Hide / Show RepliesThing is, I did. Countmall then unilaterally readded them for no reason at all.
Also, 2005 Doctors folder would obviously go on the 2005 revival page, as it's very specific to traits introduced post-Time War and post-Rose Tyler.
Huh. Weird. Okay, I agree with the 2005 Doctors should go on the 2005 revival page.
If there's a John Hurt's Doctor, who's "not the Doctor" by his own words ...
Maybe there should be the Watcher too.
And Valeyard/Dream Lord relocated for that matter?
Hide / Show RepliesThe Watcher was just an unformed regeneration, like a ghost. He wasn't really a 'Doctor' per say. The Valeyard and the Dream Lord were both villains. The dream Lord was just a manifestation of the dark side of the Doctor. The Valeyard could be considered, but again, he's a villain, and we haven't seen the Doctor explicitly become the Yaleyard yet.
Removed from the Tenth Doctor's sheet:
- Badass Minds Think Alike: With the two mentioned above, neither really coordinated their activities with him all that much but since they had his memories, it wasn't all that hard to figure out how to work in sync on the fly.
No idea what this is referring to. I'm guessing this was leftovers from when the Badass tropes were (wrongly) sub-bulletted.
Edited by 70.33.253.43Should we give John Hurt's Doctor a different name? Like; The Missing Doctor Unknown Doctor The 8.5th Doctor The Forgotten Doctor
Edited by 70.33.253.45 Hide / Show RepliesIt matches up with Roger Delgado's Master, Anthony Ainley's Master and so forth on Doctor Who – Villains. Should we just leave it out altogether until the 50th anniversary special?
Nah, he is a Doctor, and we know some stuff about him thanks to information on the 50th and the 11th Doctor's arc. The only reason I asked was because all the other Doctors were given numeral names, so I thought this Doctor might have a different name as well. I personally think either "The Forgotten Doctor" or something like "The Non-Doctor"
P.S. Not gonna bother with spoiler tags in the discussion any more.
True but I think a more accurate name is nessacery, something along the lines of "The Doctor's Secret" or "The Doctor (Name of The Doctor)"
Did the shrimp thing from The Invisible Enemy enter the Doctor's mind to breed more of its kind? Maybe I'm misremembering the story, I thought that it reproduced in some sort of vat on Titan Base.
Anyone more familiar with the Seventh Doctor validate that the former use of Xanatos Gambit in his character description (edited by Chaotic Novelist to The Plan due to widespread misuse of the XG term throughout the wiki) is legit?
Edited by OldManHoOhWhy are all the images from that cartoon site? It wouldn't really be a problem, but they're not particularly good and none of them even really look like the doctor's apart from very basic outfit detail.
Hide / Show RepliesBecause that person did every bloody thing in the Whoniverse?
And I'd say most of the classic Doctors look like themselves, and Ten.
Edited by VoxTheHeroBut they don't, that's the problem. The cartoons are all just the same template with different clothes and hair, and it renders the entire point of having images moot.
That's not true. Even if the basic shape is identical, the facial expressions are clearly different and varied.
Sliding Scale Of Anti Heroes: I would argue that 10 was a lot more of a III than a II. Think about the Sycorax, and what happened during Waters of Mars.
Hide / Show RepliesI notice that what's here and what's actually on the Sliding Scale page doesn't quite gel together.
Here: 11 Type I, 2, 4, 8 and 10 Type II, 1, 3, 5* Type III and 6 and 7 Type IV.
On the Sliding Scale Of Anti Heroes page: The Doctor in general Type II, 5 Type I, 1 (depending on the wording, toward the end), 6 and 10 Type II, 1 (after mellowing), 7, 9 and 10 (on the occasions like Polaris mentioned) Type III, 1 (initially) and the incarnation that stopped the Time War (presumably 8) Type IV, with 2, 3, 4 and 11 not specified.

Apparently a new poster featuring all major incarnations (including War and Fugitive) has been released? Either way, should we replace the page image? I can't open an Image Pickin' thread right now, they're all full :/
