I just want to say, I just finished watching the first season and am working into the second. At least in the first season, the writers really didn't seem to be able to understand Angela's skills. In the episode where she creates the face for someone who is related to another character (Temperance Brennan), she is surprised to learn they are very closely related. Booth has to tell her. She doesn't spot the resemblance? She's an expert in faces!
