Okay... I hope someone stumbles upon this request and adds these things to the page, because I totally don't know how to edit this in or what are the correct terms on the wiki for these things... I have two details to add to the page: 1) Assymetrical hairdos as a symbol of love. When Neviril meets Amuria for the first time in Paraietta's flashback, she is wearing her hair down, and Amuria wears hers in two pigtails. In episode 1, Neviril has a single pigtail in her hair on her right side, and Amuria has one on her left. After Amuria dies, Neviril wears two pigtails. Also, Rodoreamon cut off her left braid, and Mamiina cut off her right one. 2) The religious pendant wings. All the priests wear the Tempus Spatium winged symbol pendant. Those who have not chosen a gender have both wings attached, men have the right wing broken off, and women have the left one broken off.

About the bit in the "Anime Incest" trope... It's been a while since I last saw Simoun, but... I'm pretty sure that, even if the only person who learned about the awkward relationship between Caim and Alty was Aer, who was nonchalant about the whole deal, the series itself still maintained that, yeah, their bit was weird. If nothing else, Simoun shows that incest crosses a lot of lines.
