Many articles in this section are written under the assumption that Lucifer is the demon overlord, which needs a correction. If we are to believe the game lore, this isn't true. Lucifer is on the official page described as the one who united demons after Satan's demise and brought balance back, but he does not rule all demons. He is specifically called "Chief of the Fallen Angels". Beelzebub is his very evenly matched rival, not his minion. This is reflected in Lucifer's reaction to Beelzebub's obvious scheming, he's obviously alerted, but cannot raid Beelzebub freely.

This sheds some light on how the demons operate. Changes will be underway.
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
My entry about Nina being a Pinball Protagonist was deleted, which wouldn't bother me if it wasn't because the reason given if anything enforces the fact that she is indeed one:
Technically true, Nina's personal stake is about her feelings for Charioce, but lets look at the number of major plot points in Virgin Souls:
Now, lets's look at Nina's plot or characterization points that she had at the beggining of the series:
Now, that was roughly at the first few episodes, fast forward to episode 18 and the end results of Nina being exposed to all of the two above lists through the relationships she had with almost if not all the main characters, the end result is that her only personal stake is:
That's it, there was even a Lampshade Hanging on the lastest episode about how she (along with Favaro and Azazel) where lazing around while all the others where gathering information about how to infiltrate the palace and get near the King.
There's has been exactly two times in the entirety of the series so far where her dragon transformation has affected the outcome of any events (first in ep. 4 and the other after they escape prison) and the previously mentioned ptsd and daddy issues her own mother hints at are handwaved because all it took was for her to learn what if feels like to ber loved.
Because from all of the above she has absolutely no opinions, no hindsight, not even a comment from all that has been happening around her that doesn't involve Charioce, despite the fact that she's involved with so many other characters and plots, her role as a protagonist is very much reactive rather than active and overall if she was taken out from the story or made a secondary character it would hardly if affect the story at all, which taken from the Pinball Protagonist main page we have:
If the writing and tone of the tale all imply that the character is the protagonist, and yet they can be lifted right out of the story and have little to no impact on anything that has or will happen: then they're just a little silver ball in the cosmic pinball game of life.
I rest my case.
