A trope not being standard for YMMV shouldn't stop you to place it here if the entry is subjective. I've seen it done already on other pages. If the trope content is more of an opinion than anything else, then it's in fact better to place it there.

As this trope indeed started a bit of discussion of the main page (which, I remind everybody, is a big no-no), I've moved it myself to the YMMV subpage.
The dissonant soundtrack entry.. I don't get it. I don't want to just go in arguing but I really have to disagree, the music was always appropriate, and perfectly cued and fitting to the tone of every scene, to me. For instance, the burial scene's music wasn't some gloomy, mournful thick thing, no, but that made it all the more fitting - it had the kind of feel of pushing against mourning out of necessity, for me.
I'd suggest YMMV'ing it but it isn't a YMMV trope by wiki definition..
