Should "Bigger Bad" be removed from this list now that it has been renamed "Greater-Scope Villain" to clarify its use, or what?

A lot of these seem to be a case of Viewers Are Morons, whether or not people actually got the meaning. They also seem to be taking away a lot of the jokes that existed in some article names.

Unfortunately, we've learned that you HAVE to assume Viewers Are Morons. Trope Repair Shop and Special Efforts have slaved away on enormous projects for YEARS because people can't be bothered to read the trope description.
Plus, straightforward names are easier to search for.
This has got to be like the 5,000th time I forgot my email or password...
I am not convinced that having been cut is an automatic reason for pulling the entry, so restoring:
- Breast Sponge was "Body Sponge". It was renamed for clarity.
Let's discuss it here before re-pulling it.

I think the cutting is part of the new content policy, where the tendency seems to be towards untroping and unworking pages. Which means not keeping a trace of them here either.

Nothing gets unpaged without the review of the 5P. So this is premature (and it was in TRS anyway)

Why is somebody deleting entries from this page, like Actor Allusion? The name hasn't been changed back... and even if it had, it'd still be an example of a renamed trope.

^Because they thought that after cutting the redirects, the entries don't belong anymore. They've been suspended for that.

<Mod Note> Complaining about renames here is pointless and will not be tolerated.
The proper place to discuss renames is on the Trope Repair Shop forum, when the rename is being proposed. Griping after the fact is useless and will be considered a violation of the wiki rules.
