Metroids? We know what they are, how they work, and where they came from. Not everything they do makes sense but they are too well documented to be eldritch abominations. The X parasite we don\'t know the exact origins of but they hardly seem mysterious enough to be Eldritch. The Ing should be disqualified just on familiarity. There are many of them with an intricate hierarchical society. Any reason why I shouldn\'t remove these? As it is, Metroid has three examples at most.
