\\\"Trotskyism grew out of Leon Trotsky\\\'s response to the brutality meted out by the Soviet bureacracy under Stalin.\\\"

Strikes me as kind of a HistoricalHeroUpgrade. LeonTrotsky could be pretty brutal himself, [[IHaveYourWife like willing to take former tsarist officers\\\' families hostage]]. It\\\'s pretty debatable if he would have been better of worse than Stalin had he come out on top and mostly had a problem with Soviet oppression after he\\\'d been exiled. .

\\\"The USSR was not a dictatorship of the proletariat; rather, it was a bureacratic dictatorship in the common usage of the word. \\\"

I\\\'ve heard the NoTrueScotsMan that the USSR wasn\\\'t really communist alot and this seems a variation.
