Interesting that someone changed my suggestion from Encom being an {{Expy}} of Apple to being of Hewlett-Packard. I would imagine this makes more sense as HP by then was the more established company (founded in 1939) which presumably would explain why Walter Gibbs (the founder and guy who\'s working on the laser experiment) is an older man than Steve Wozniak would have been.
