Ghost Rider: Final Vengeance is a 2024 ongoing comic book by Marvel Comics, written by Benjamin Percy with art by Danny Kim.

After the events of Ghost Rider (2022), Johnny Blaze is travelling the country fighting evil. However, when the Spirit of Vengeance, Zarathos, leaves him for another host more suited for its wicked ways, Johnny must go on an epic journey to regain his powers and become Ghost Rider again.


Ghost Rider: Final Vengeance provides examples of:

  • All Webbed Up: The giant spider is shown to have done this to Johnny when Zeb finds him at the end of Issue #2.
  • Bad Black Barf: After his first transformation into Ghost Rider, Parker throws up a substance that he mentions "tastes like wet ash."
  • Body Surf: Zarathos spends the first issue jumping between hosts all around the world looking for a more suitable one on orders of Mephisto.
  • The Cameo:
    • Caleb from Ghost Rider: Trail of Tears appears as one of the Ghost Riders while Zarathos is reflecting on his various hosts over the years.
    • Thor appears in the first issue after Zarathos possesses the headless corpse of Skrymir, who was killed in The Immortal Thor.
  • Computer Virus: After being possessed by Zarathos, Danger releases a demonically augmented computer virus into a New York data center as revenge against humanity due to Orchis' murder and exile of all the mutants.
  • De-power: Zarathos leaves Johnny Blaze on order of Mephisto.
  • Detect Evil: Parker gains a rather potent version of this after becoming Ghost Rider, and it comes complete with Psychometry.
  • Dressed Like a Dominatrix: Hellmuth, the vampire Queenpin who Parker meets with at the end of Issue #2.
  • Fair-Weather Friend: Zarathos admits to seeing Johnny as little more than a tool, the latest in a long line of them, and as such he is not too broken up over leaving Johnny mid-fight with a Giant Spider when urged to by Mephisto.
  • Frame-Up: Lisa's mother-in-law plans on telling her lawyer that she found drugs at Lisa's house in order to gain custody of her grandchildren.
  • Giant Spider: Johnny faces one as Ghost Rider in the first couple of pages. Unfortunatly, Zarathos leaves him mid-battle, leaving him defenseless.
  • Haunted Technology: Zarathos possess Danger, the robotic embodiment of the X-Men's Danger Room.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Lisa as Ghost Rider burns her mother-in-law alive for trying to take her kids.
  • Narrator: The first issue is narrated by Zarathos.
  • Obnoxious In-Laws: A darker varient, as Lisa's mother-in-law hates her and tries to frame her for drug possession to gain custody of her grandchildren.
  • The Reveal: The new Ghost Rider is The Hood.
  • Rogue Drone: A member of the Brood decides to rebel and protect humanity from its species, and is possessed by Zarathos to help it in its fight against its fellow Brood.
  • Summoning Ritual: The Hood performs one to draw Zarathos to him, so he can become the new Ghost Rider and regain his demonic powers.
  • Vampires Own Night Clubs: Hellmuth and her gang operate out of a butcher shop, the interior of which looks more like a nightclub, complete with an MC.
