You might be thinking of Oliver Warbucks\'s two bodyguards from Little Orphan Annie. Punjab is Indian, but in [[{{Annie}} the movie]] he is played by Geoffrey Holder, who is a big black guy. Warbucks\'s other bodyguard is an Asian martial artist named the Asp. (Although the Asp didn\'t get nearly as much screen time in the movie as Punjab).
