Someone added \\\"Author Filibuster\\\" without example. Citing this trope screams for citing an example in this case. I\\\'ve only watched season 1 so far, so haven\\\'t seen it. All I\\\'ve seen so far is satire.

Someone added \\\"Author Filibuster\\\" without example. Where? Satire is not the same thing as stopping the narrative or rhythm of the show dead in it\\\'s tracks for a long, boring diatribe thinly disguised as dialog. Citing this trope screams for citing an example in this case.

Someone added \\\"Author Filibuster\\\" without example. Where? True, I\\\'ve only watched season 1 so far, so I can\\\'t yet say there are none. But satire is not the same thing as stopping the narrative or rhythm of the show dead in it\\\'s tracks for a long, boring diatribe thinly disguised as dialog. Could it be that whoever added this simply feels the satire struck a little too close to home? Perhaps not. But one thing is clear: Citing this trope screams for citing an example, when they are obviously rare (at the very least) in this show.

Could it be that whoever added this simply feels the satire struck a little too close to home, and wants to label it in a more negative way?

\\\"Quite the hair-trigger you got there.\\\"
\\\"It\\\'s not the size of the army, but the fury of its onslaught.\\\"

Also, [[YouKeepUsingThatWord it\\\'s canon, not cannon]]. If the aliens did anything \\\'\\\'cannonically\\\'\\\', it would probably involve them being launched out of a barrel with a large powder charge. Would certainly make \\\'\\\'HoratioHornblower\\\'\\\' a far freakier show to watch, though no doubt highly entertaining. \\\"NUKE IT FROM ORBIT, MISTER HORNBLOWER!\\\"
