A few things I thought should be cleared up about some characters, mainly Tootie and Trixie:

* Tootie is not nearly as bad or as harmful to Timmy as what\'s been written here. What is worse is that most of the trope entries were put there in the first place by someone who wrote an extremely vile Anti-Tootie fanfic and very biased comments against her here. Some, like ClingyJealousGirl, you can tell the troper didn\'t even read the trope involved before they rush inserted Tootie in there because she vaguely sounds like she belongs (She doesn\'t). She has her flaws, an InformedFlaw I should say (her stalking), but it has never had a major effect on an episode to the point where it needs to be mentioned every other line. As for being a shallow love interest, even before the live action movie thrust her into the limelight and added more depth to her, there was always a special correlation between Tootie, her family, and Timmy\'s family, which could be seen in episodes, kid\'s books, and even a few video games. As for flanderizing her, that is debatable, as she loved Timmy just as much in her first appearance as her last, and anything in between was really just the AntiGoggles-wearing people blowing one time gags out of proportion. I removed her from ShallowLoveInterest and Flanderization as neither seems appropriate for her anymore (not that the latter ever was in the first place).
* Tweets from official sources, like Butch Hartman himself, make no mention of Tootie\'s stalking, only that she was a \

Removed most of the shipping related bunk. A lot of complaining seems to be about flanderized characters, but most of the characters you guys are naming are just love interests or female characters that rarely appear and are mostly there to serve the purpose of joke factories. Among other stuff, I think people need to stop blaming every bad edit on their character on other (rival character) shippers. -LRS

* Tweets from official sources, like Butch Hartman himself, make no mention of Tootie\\\'s stalking, only that she was a \\\"nerdy girl who always loved Timmy\\\". I dare say that any exaggerations of Tootie\\\'s character beyond what Butch described (such as the stalking) are non-canon, as his word trumps everything that his revolving door writing staff may have established. StalkerWithACrush and StalkerShrine are appropriate as they fit the basic consistency of her character, but I think it should be noted the extent of how much she stalks Timmy which is why I also added InformedFlaw (and saw it inexplicably removed) and believe all three tropes should remain.
* Hatred for Trixie is often placed squarely on the shoulders of Timmy/Tootie shippers, which leads to tropers justifying the bunk they\\\'ve inserted in Tootie\\\'s section outlined above to \\\"get even\\\". any time one remotely negative (but sometimes true) trope is put in Trixie\\\'s character section by some random unknown IP address, it is immediately removed and about five negative half-truths/fabrications are forced into Tootie\\\'s section in retaliation. I should point out that many people who bash Trixie also bash Tootie and other females on the show, and that many of her haters are not shippers at all, but rather casual fans who see her as a bully or tease toward the main character of the show. The way a character treats the main character is the merit they are usually judged on by the average fan. Tootie\\\'s stalking is practically invisible to the average viewer (I certainly didn\\\'t know it was a big deal... until I came to internet FOP discussion places like this one) but you have to be blind to not see Trixie\\\'s meanness toward Timmy. But just because someone is a Tootie fan doesn\\\'t mean they automatically mindlessly hate Trixie. I myself have no problem with her and much of the best Timmy/Trixie related fanart comes from hardcore Tootie fans.
* On the point of Trixie being a tomboy, it should be noted she was never even called this in the lone episode it was featured in. In her words, she enjoyed boy things in secret because her friends would think she was weird otherwise, but just wanted to be able to enjoy both boy and girl things. She otherwise still remained true to the fact that she wanted to dress and act like a girl. Not going to dare touch any of the tropes that involve on this, but I seriously doubt they can be considered HiddenDepths. It\\\'s technically not a CompressedVice either since it is not a negative thing. JerkAssFacade on this episode definitely should be called into question: Remember her reaction at to Timmy at the end of the episode, not to mention the Veronica photograph (the latter being an excusable gag, but still a mean moment).

I posted the above because I removed a whole bunch of tropes from Tootie\\\'s section and one from Trixie\\\'s (which was a direct attack at Tootie\\\'s fans) and I didn\\\'t want regulars here to think it was a random act of vandalism. I\\\'ve noticed there is a lot of dreck that barely fits other characters all over the characters page. I\\\'m also going to have to call into question what all this character alignment nonsense is.

Look, I have \\\'\\\'tried\\\'\\\' to be nice and offer a compromise to the blatant, rambling editorializing of the original entry, and instead of working with me on this, you\\\'re just griping because your pet theory isn\\\'t being pimped on the main page. This is not a page for fans of the game to discuss all its intricacies: there\\\'s an Analysis page for that, and an ItJustBugsMe page \\\'\\\'and\\\'\\\' a WildMassGuessing page. In fact, this very topic has been brought up on the latter two pages. This is a page for people who might not be familiar with the game to read up on the story and its tropes, and bogging it down with an \\\"example\\\" that\\\'s three rambling paragraphs long and constantly waffles back and forth on whether it even really \\\'\\\'counts\\\'\\\' as an example doesn\\\'t help anything.

The game does not have an explicit connection to the earlier Persona games. People who have only played \\\'\\\'Persona 3\\\'\\\' don\\\'t need to know anything about the first two games. They\\\'re not referenced apart from an irrelevant namedrop or cameo here and there. That\\\'s exactly what ContinuityNod means. That\\\'s why I picked it.

ContinuitySnarl, on the other hand, makes some very broad assumptions that playing the game does not support. For all we know, P1 and P2 apply only in BroadStrokes, or this is an AlternateContinuity, or it\\\'s a franchise ContinuityReboot, or maybe even a CosmicRetcon (the series has already had at least one of those via \\\'\\\'Eternal Punishment\\\'\\\'). The creators saying Philemon is the butterfly tells us nothing that Igor and the Velvet Room\\\'s presence in the latter series didn\\\'t already tell us anyway (and that\\\'s not even getting into DeathOfTheAuthor). Calling the lack of a deeper, more straightforward connection a ContinuitySnarl makes too many assumptions about what the story\\\'s trying to be and comes off as a disguised TheyChangedItNowItSucks.

By the way, I really don\\\'t appreciate how personally you\\\'re making this. I spent several hours cleaning up this page, and I didn\\\'t see you or anyone else stepping up to help or offering any thanks afterward. When you raised a complaint, I tried to fix the page to include your contribution - and you responded by continuing to complain and criticizing my work on the page because you didn\\\'t get \\\'\\\'exactly\\\'\\\' the trope name you\\\'re looking for!

The page was a \\\'\\\'mess\\\'\\\', and since nobody else was cleaning it, I had to make judgment calls on what needed to go. I made them (and I saved all the deleted material here - if I hadn\\\'t done that, we wouldn\\\'t even be having this conversation now), and I don\\\'t appreciate you jumping in long after the fact with that \\\"chopping it out was a gross overreaction and a disservice\\\" remark. I\\\'ve been working hard on these pages. If you want to help, then \\\'\\\'help\\\'\\\', or at least show some willingness to work together (as I did by adding them as ContinuityNod instead of ignoring your message) rather than just complaining that I\\\'m not doing it exactly to your liking.

I spent several days cleaning up this page, and I didn\\\'t see you or anyone else stepping up to help or offering any thanks afterward.

For all we know, P1 and P2 apply only in BroadStrokes, or this is an AlternateContinuity, or it\\\'s a franchise ContinuityReboot, or maybe even a CosmicRetcon (the series has already had at least one of those in the form of \\\'\\\'Eternal Punishment\\\'\\\').

I spent several days cleaning up this page, and I didn\\\'t see you or anyone else stepping up to help or offering any thanks afterward.

I made them (and I saved all the deleted material here - if I hadn\\\'t done that, we wouldn\\\'t even be having this conversation now), and I don\\\'t appreciate you jumping in after the fact with that \\\"chopping it out was a gross overreaction and a disservice\\\" remark. I\\\'ve been working hard on these pages. If you want to help, then \\\'\\\'help\\\'\\\', or at least show some willingness to work together (as I did by adding them as ContinuityNod rather than, say, just ignoring the message) rather than just complaining that I\\\'m not doing it exactly to your liking.

Look, I have \'\'tried\'\' to be nice and offer a compromise to the blatant, rambling editorializing of the original entry, and instead of working with me on this, you\'re just griping because your pet theory isn\'t being pimped on the main page. This is not a page for fans of the game to discuss all its intricacies: there\'s an Analysis page for that, and an ItJustBugsMe page \'\'and\'\' a WildMassGuessing page. This is a page for people who might not be familiar with the game to read up on the story and its tropes, and bogging it down with an \\\"example\\\" that\\\'s three rambling paragraphs long and constantly waffles back on forth on whether it even really \\\'\\\'counts\\\'\\\' as an example doesn\\\'t help anything.

For all we know, P1 and P2 apply only in BroadStrokes, or this is an AlternateContinuity, or it\\\'s a franchise ContinuityReboot, or maybe even a CosmicRetcon (the series has already had at least one of those in the form of \\\'\\\'Innocent Sin\\\'\\\'). The creators saying Philemon is the butterfly tells us nothing that Igor and the Velvet Room\\\'s presence in the latter series didn\\\'t already tell us anyway (and that\\\'s not even getting into DeathOfTheAuthor). Calling the lack of a deeper, more straightforward connections a ContinuitySnarl makes too many assumptions about what the story\\\'s trying to be and comes off as a disguised TheyChangedItNowItSucks.

By the way, I really don\\\'t appreciate how personally you\\\'re making this. I spent several days cleaning up this page, and I didn\\\'t see you or anyone else stepping up to help or offering any thanks afterward. When you raised a complaint, I tried to fix the page to include your contribution - and you responsed by continuing to complain and criticizing my work on the page because you didn\\\'t ger \\\'\\\'exactly\\\'\\\' the trope name you\\\'re looking for!

The page was a \\\'\\\'mess\\\'\\\', and since nobody else was cleaning it, I had to make judgment calls on what needs to go. I made them, and I don\\\'t appreciate you jumping in after the fact with that \\\"chopping it out was a gross overreaction and a disservice\\\" remark. I\\\'ve been working hard on these pages. If you want to help, then \\\'\\\'help\\\'\\\', or at least show some willingness to work together (as I did by adding them in as ContinuityNod rather than, say, just ignoring the message) rather than just complaining that I\\\'m not doing it exactly to your liking.
