I\\\'ve noticed some entries on here that feel off, mostly due to the reception of the game/characters that seem to treat the game as \\\"unpopular\\\" at first, but being \\\"better nowadays\\\".

The CharacterPerceptionEvolution entry for Roy doesn\\\'t make sense to me. Roy has been popular since he appeared in melee, and while his game has not been localized, people have consistently praised him and liked him even with his gameplay issues at times. He\\\'s still immensely popular, so I don\\\'t know how he\\\'s gone from \\\"being viewed as bad\\\" to now \\\"people like him\\\", when he\\\'s always been massively popular. The fact he won the first CYL in \\\'\\\'Heroes\\\'\\\' alongside Ike, Lucina, and Lyn without his game ever been localized kinda speaks for itself that he\\\'s not changed in perception amongst the general playerbase.

If anything, people seem to have the opposite view, in that he\\\'s gotten more a more critical analysis from people as time went on, and isn\\\'t viewed in the same overwhelmingly positive light (but still massively popular) as before.

For VindicatedByHistory: Since the game never got localized, it doesn\\\'t have the same clear indication of quality like later games do. But from my understanding it was very well received, and had a hugely positive view across the internet before the series became popular. Its in more recent years as the series became popular that people seem to be more critical of its design. The only way I could see it being BYH is if it wasn\\\'t popular when it came out when accounting for its lack of world wide release, but the game doesn\\\'t appear to have been unpopular amongst the community or in Japan.
