There should be a litmus test to determine if something qualifies as a fake Shemp: (1) the original actor shot material or was planned to be included in the reshoots/sequel but died/declined/became unavailable (2) the Shemp was not being used for reasons that usually use a double (e.g. stunts, nudity).

There should be more clarification for what isn\'t a fake Shemp, particularly examples like Film/RogueOne where if Carrie Fisher and Peter Cushing had been alive they\'d be four decades too old to reprise their roles, so the original actor\'s appearance was never an option. If those films are included, then any film with de-aging VFX would be a fake Shemp even though it\'s really not the case. Generally a dead actor requiring a fake Shemp had \'\'recently\'\' died and the project was initially planned around them being alive.

If those films are included, then any film with de-aging VFX or an actor playing a younger iteration would be a fake Shemp even though it\\\'s obviously not the case. Generally a dead actor requiring a fake Shemp had \\\'\\\'recently\\\'\\\' died and the project was initially planned around them being alive.
