The main description states that this trope is TruthInTelevision because, as it claims, people rarely used to bathe until modern times and points to TheDungAges (about this myth as it relates to the medieval period), but this is completely untrue; communal bathing has been a staple of life in nearly every society since ancient Greece. This example may have confused the relatively modern emergence of bathing in private for the concept of bathing in general, but it seems out of order to have completely incorrect information as a supposed real-world example regardless. Also seems kind of unnecessary/PSOC-y to point out the existence of people who rarely bathe in general, but this is up to interpretation.
