The Galaxy is at peace.\\\" Now, think about Samus as of the end of Dread. With all the metroids being killed, Samus is now the Last Metroid. With that, think of the opening line again...

3. Raven Beak wanted to make the metroids a bioweapon. This plot has been seen countless times during the franchise, but one thing that crossed my mind is that the Federation has tried to use metroids as bioweapons before. Twice, and both times they were thwarted by Samus (and other external factors). Now, Samus IS the bioweapon; the very thing Samus was trying to prevent happened to her. It\\\'s a good thing she\\\'s on the side of the Federation... (I theorize that some aliens (like Sylux from Hunters) view Samus as the Federation\\\'s pet since she rarely works on her own)
