Now I really wish I\'d read this earlier in the day to see what the unrevised version had. I saw nothing that he even remotely came close to crossing a MoralEventHorizon because of the spoilers. It may be uncomfortable to some but keep in mind this story is heavily leaning towards TenchiSolution ending. It\'s inevitable that he\'s going to express (or realize) his feelings towards most of the girls in this story. Crossing a MoralEventHorizon is definitely overkill for anything Kyon has done in this story.

[Edit] Upon seeing the unrevised dialogue I still only see a teenager overcome by a date and enjoying himself. Yes it may be considered cheating but again perspectives can be different.
