I agree with OP. And this fixation is not just about Gaston but villains in general. [[Characters/TheHunchbackOfNotreDameDisneyJudgeClaudeFrollo Frollo]] and [[Characters/TheLionKingScar Scar]] also have SevenDeadlySins entries that try to make them fit into all the seven, but some sins are clearly just shoehorning.
