"Not So Different" Remark when someone points out (correctly or incorrectly) that they share similar motives or beliefs to their antagonist.

In-Universe Opinion Myopia for failure to comprehend that alternate points of view exist.

Evil Cannot Comprehend Good when this is something like believing it's impossible to simply want to do something good without an ulterior motive.

At Least I Admit It when someone attempts to claim the moral high ground by owning their own ethical shortcomings.

I think that your original concept might be closest to Hannibal Lecture, actually; it's a subtrope of Break Them by Talking specifically focused on the villain giving a speech or lecture intended to psychologically break the hero down, undermine their confidence, beliefs, and sense of identity, and dig into their insecurities and failures to use against them.
