Small chance this might have been more than one show/season, part of the same collection, but all on Hulu several years ago. There could also have been a movie tie-in, but that feels like a reach.
Doesn't have a page yet but could it be Tori Hada?
It is an anthology series that part of the concept is a group of stories that at revealed in the final story are are interconnected
Edited by jormis29Not Tori Hada, but thanks for the reply! The series I remember was a bit less graphic horror. I remember the "living doll" episode vividly; the man/abuser specifically didn't want the girl to enter womanhood. I recall the series being so fascinating and well done, hopefully I can see it again someday.
Any idea how many seasons there was?
This was a Japanese psychological horror/thriller series on Hulu a long time ago. Possibly the director or writer was someone famous, or it was based on a famous work? Each episode focused on a different character whose stories all interconnected. Overall tone of the show was very understated. One specific episode featured a woman who was being kept as a "living doll" by an abusive creepy guy. The subject of at least one episode was a wedding.
