3d animated Main character might’ve had pink hair and space buns She had a small companion The villain of the show were white haired twins I remember a gong being at the main characters house or something so possibly china themes, as well as a bamboo forest being where she lives
openCartoon with emotional cloud Western Animation
I remember seeing a clip from a show in which a character, who was a cloud, was upset and rain started pouring from her to represent crying. When she got angry, she turned into a storm cloud. It's unlikely to be Masami Yoshida, as I watched a few clips and didn't ring a bell. It's also not Cloudy Jay, as the cloud was a regular floating cloud.
openRefusing to believe the prankster really died. Western Animation
Looking for an episode of a cartoon show where a character’s elderly friend died, but she firmly believes it’s another prank he’s pulling. After his funeral, she asks why he didn’t show up. Then she’s given a box filled with his personal effects, which is what finally convinces her that he’s really dead.
Edited by CSS1resolved Pirate Cartoon Western Animation
I brought up a cartoon from my early childhood in a conversation with my mum, but I was unable to put a name to it. From what I can recall, it was a 3D cartoon aimed at preschoolers about a cast of pirates and their antics aboard their ship. It had a bright, colourful aesthetic and the characters were typically designed with round shapes. There might have been a licensed PC game too, but I have a feeling that was a false memory...
RESOLVED: The show in question is Yoho Ahoy. Thanks, skewview!
Edited by Riolugirlresolved Riding Dragons before it was considered cool. Also fighting Orc-like bad guys. Western Animation
There was a classic-drawn fantasy animation set in sort of a post-apocalyptic world where humans rode dragons. They fought some sort of Orc-ish demons who also rode their own dragons. While it was mostly fantasy, there were a lot of technology elements, namely armors and some antagonist had something akin to a lava cannon. The show was brimming with tusked faces, skulls and bats. I vaguely remember a swarm of lizard-like critters with bat wings and one bad guy had a scouting pet in a form of one-eyed dark bat.
resolved Adult cartoon Western Animation
I remember a scene about this cartoon. I think it was an adult cartoon, more like The Simpsons than South Park.
A husband and wife go to an insurance company and the agent offers a nice plan for the widow. Then the husband has an Imagine Spot of his wife in a fancy mansion already with another man, asking him to make her forget about her husband, while throqing her cigarretes on his own ashes. And then he simply asks the agent for more plans.
resolved 90s-2000s claymation shorts on Teletoon Western Animation
I vaguely remember a series of claymation shorts on teletoon during the 90s. The characters had british accents, and one of the shorts was about a movie about plants eating people.
I beleive that the ending theme had he words "always having fun"
Can anyone tell me the name of the claymation shorts?
openCartoon ends with with gunfight in the dark. Western Animation
A comedy cartoon, might be Warner Brothers. Main character is a slow and dopey hero. The conflict culminates in a duel (First floor of an inn? A tavern?) where the lights turn off and a terrific and elaborate exchange of colorful lights takes place before one distinctly shoots the other.
Lights turn on and the hero's girlfriend thinks he's dead but then it turns out he's not.
resolved tv show about airship races, female protagonist Western Animation
Not sure if it was Western Animation or Anime, I think the show had a steampunk style.
I remember the plot of an episode was about a race between multiple airships. The female human protagonist made a deal with an alien-looking guy of another team to not attack each other during the race.
While racing one of the girl's team member ignores her and starts firing against the alien dude ship, using a machine gun mounted on a glass bubble structure that pops below the ship. The girl gets mad and uses the ship controls to retract and lock the machine gun. The alien dude, confused and betrayed, attacks the girl's ship, that is unable to defend because the girl locked the guns. The ship ends up crashing and they are unable to finish the race. The alien dude ends the race but is nowhere near the winners.
I don't remember anything else about the plot but I remember that the girl failing was a common theme, it was a very pessimistic show.
I believe it was aired in cartoon network during a girl focused segment, along with The Winx Club. I saw it in Argentina so it must have had an spanish dub. I've looking for a while but I can't find anything.
openPINK haired girl with brain? Western Animation
I vaguely remember an animated show with a pink haired girl who had a ‘pet’ brain, not certain on air time, probably 2005-2009 period, on cbbc or citv. in most episodes the villager people would come after the brain claiming it did something. I keep trying to remember it but all i can think of is ‘Pinky and the brain’, which i know it is not as i searched it and have never seen an episode, however i know the theme song off by heart. Meaning what im describing may be a remade/spin off version. Possibly not.
The animation style is difficult to remember but is most likely western and flat layered. Not anime or 3D animation.
Any idea about this show is VERY APPRECIATED! Thanks in advance ^-^ (Any questions just ask)
Edited by SpuriousRangiferineresolved A cartoon about two anthropomorphic animals traveling the world Western Animation
I remember an Edutainment cartoon following two brothers in a World of Funny Animals (I believe the two were rabbits, but I might be wrong) traveling to a different country in almost every episode, which teached their traditions and geography to children. In Brazil, it was broadcasted on Discovery Kids around the 2000's.
Edited by good-morningopenLooney Tunes Orchestra Gazebo Western Animation
Hey, I'm looking for a show that a friend of my mom remembers🙂. From what she told me, there was Bugs Bunny, an orchestra of animals, and it all took place in a gazebo of some kind🤔. Maybe she might be remembering things wrong🤔, but I kinda wanna find that thing she was looking for🙂. Anyone have a clue on what it might be?🙂
openpost-apocalyptic CGI short animation that traumatised me as a child (SOLVED!) Western Animation
We saw this short film in class and were going to write an essay on it, and I honestly can't believe they showed it to kids. I'm quite certain it is on a website called 'Literacy shed', but I haven't found it yet. I only remember sparce details about what was actually in it. I remember there was this young girl with a prosthetic leg with her caregiver, and they were in a small cramped space after coming back from a sandy wasteland wearing gas masks. At some point the girl leaves and comes across a playground where she has a vision that there are loads of other kids there, the world becomes brighter and there is a visual of her leg magically healing. She takes off her gas mask. All I remember after that is it pans to her being found by her caregiver in the wasteland playground with her mask off and her being dead, and that's how it ends. It traumatised the f*ck out of me.
Main details like I said is it is likely somewhere on Literacy shed (although it may have been removed in the present), it is a short CGI-animated film that we had to talk about in class for some reason. Any ideas?
Edited by EllipsicleopenEducational Short With Sheep Western Animation
There's an educational short film that I once watched at a shopping mall as a kid. At one point, the sheep who was narrating it said that the moon doesn't have the resources needed to live. At the very end, he somehow ended up on the moon and asked for help. Someone extended a ladder to the moon, but he decided to jump instead.
open[SOLVED] Indian Version of Tom And Jerry Western Animation
I remember there being an Indian version of Tom and Jerry but with certain key differences that separated it from a direct Copy Cat. In the show, instead of a fight between a cat and a mouse, it was between two dogs and three mice. One of the dogs was beige/orange and the other was green. The show was in Hindi and was pretty popular back in The New '10s. Sometimes, a third military dog would appear who was either a dead father or grandfather of the two dogs. I am unsure if the Anglo-centric editor majority here can help but if anyone's got any clues, thank you in advance.
Edited by PiotrHeatopenOld Animated Short Western Animation
For a friend: “there was also a cartoon short that DEVESTATED me and ive never been able to find it since. It was about a little boy who used a cardboard paper towel tube as a telescope and hed look at the stars, and imagine it was a real telescope, then one day his father brought him home a really HUGE shipping tube and he was imagining himself as an astronomer with an obsevatory etc and how close the stars were. then he dropped it out the window of their apartment building and it landed in the street below and a truck ran over it. and it ended with him looking thru his old cardboard tube again and smiling iirc”
Might be a 321 contact or a Sesame Street short from the 70s or 80s or something.
openCrocdiles Teach Lessons Western Animation
The show takes place in the swamp where a boy is friends with a family of crocodiles.
The one episode I remember is them teaching the viewers how to brush your teeth.
openEarly/Mid-2000s short-series Western Animation
It was this series of shorts that aired in the 2000s, I think on Cartoon Network and maybe between full-length shows; - It was this really grungy-looking, all-CGI thing, kinda bearing resemblance to Chop Socky Chooks but with a bleaker, dirtier look. - Every episode, two of six-or-eight characters would be pit against each other. There was no dialogue, the characters looked monster-like, and they often fell apart. - I only remember one episode; two of the characters had this staring contest instead of a proper fight, and it showed this really quick montage of them aging before fading to their graves. Thanks in advance.
Looking for a animated short film featured in this segment from How It's Made
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRzQMMKTAOw
I'm not sure if "Huge Traffic" is the film's name, or just that scene's.
