openCriminal Minds episode (yet still unsolved) Live Action TV
This should be fairly easy, but no luck finding it while searching. All I remember was a brown haired young girl in her bedroom hearing her parents argue who were getting louder and louder, sadly how most parents get while arguing and hearing several arguments in my family growing up it resonated with me and I did similar things she did. Anyway, when she hears her parents argue, she does not just cover her ears, but tries to drown it with more noise, such as TV, maybe hiding in a closet, etc. That is all I actually can remember, and I know it is not much to go on, but can anyone please identify the title? Any help is truly appreciated, thank you. I know it is definitely from Criminal Minds though that is all I remembered watching.
Edited: someone on Reedit suggested the Law and Order SVU episode Savant, but I doubt it is that after looking it up. I could have sworn it was a Criminal Minds episode.
Edited by thestormtrooperopenAnimal Planet show that was about perilous animal rescues Live Action TV
This aired somewhere in, I want to say, mid-ish 90's. It aired VERY early (maybe 7-8am-ish?) in the morning, which always annoyed me because I had to go to school so sadly I only remember the intro. I've never seen an actual episode. The intro featured clips of the rescues interspersed with a close-up of flashing red emergency lights. It was high-energy and meant to pull you in, and I always thought its timeslot was odd because of it.
Please help! I want to watch this show SO bad!
Edit: I just remembered a specific clip from the intro. The camera did a close-up of a rescuer in a red harness that connected them to a helicopter that was over a very large, choppy body of water. Sadly that's the only example I remember specifically. I don't know what kind of animal that person was saving or what kind of rescue it was.
Edited by trobsessed616openWhich CSI series did this happen in? Live Action TV
Trying to confirm for my TLP Open Relationship Failure which CSI-verse series this example happened in. One contributor thinks it was the original, the other thinks it was CSI: NY.
- A man is left hospitalized, and he has a wife and a lover visit him in the hospital, both well aware of the other. The attempt was made by the wife, who was incensed that her husband never made love to her first in their trysts with the other woman.
Trying to figure out whether this example from NY is a Recycled Script or one or the other contributor just misremembered which series it belonged to. I only sporadically watch CSI and mostly in syndication.
- CSI: NY: In "Stealing Home," a dead man found shot through his right eye on his doorstep turns out to have been killed by his wife, who was jealous that he always made love to the woman they'd formed a "committed threesome" with first (even after they'd added another guy to the mix as well), and had laughed at her and told her to get over it when she'd explained how it made her feel.
openPortal wall in cornfield, missing people in other dimension Live Action TV
There's this show where there are detectives and they're tracking this portal wall thing(like a wall of mist) that pops up in different locations. I think there's a missing person(or a number of missing people) but specifically like a dad trying to find his daughter(or something like that) and the detectives discover they might be in an alternate dimension which is only accessible through the portal if they can catch where it is and when it's going to pop up again. The scientist people use technology to to figure out portal situation. I wish i could remember more. I think the show is pretty new.
openEducational show for kids Live Action TV
EDIT: Nevermind. Literally 5 minutes later I somehow find the show despite not being able to find it earlier. The show is "Finding Stuff Out".
I recall seeing this educational live-action children's show a long time ago, most probably on Nickelodeon but I'm not completely sure. It starred a boy - tween or maybe teen - who had episodes on certain topics and sometimes another person (either guest stars or recurring people) and I believe it also had songs/raps. For instance I recall there being an episode discussing animal tails with an older male person accompanying this boy, and what I remember in particular is some kids playing a game where they or someone else try to catch them by the tails to (dis)prove a hypothesis of why some animals have a shorter or no tail, and an ending where the boy and the other person walked away from the camera talking to each other with tails hanging from under their shirts. Another bit I remember is a song/rap about snakes (graphics from which also appeared in the show's intro, specifically two green snakes on either side) and a part where the boy rings the door bell as a prank and tries to run only to find a giant snake that then swallows him whole, presumably to punish him for the prank.
Edited by Eggy0resolved Black teacher dreams of a world where teachers are treated like sports stars Live Action TV
Saw an episode of what looked like an American series about the late 90s/2000s
- I think most of the cast were black
- There was this news report about an athlete getting a huge salary and some lady says that teachers should be paid that sort of money
- This teacher has a nap and dreams about a world where teachers are treated like sports stars - complete with NFL style commentators for their classes and slow motion replay when they draw on the screen
- He was teaching something like snails or something and he fakes eating it then the there was a replay showing how he palmed it
- He was considering getting a new contract for a whole heap more money this little girl tries to give her meagre savings to get him to stay
openPossible fever dream of a show Live Action TV
Ok, the memory of this show came to me recently and I know the majority of the details except it’s name and google is no help. I watched it when I was younger so sometime in the early 2000s but it might be a bit older. From what I remember it follows two siblings, a boy and a girl, and their father has gone missing. He had something to do with history or the museum but the show was big in historical events. They eventually find some sort of device I believe that allows them to become a famous historical figure during their like prime moment in history. They do this to look for clues about their dad and have to get back to the present before the major climax happens like a war or a death. Another thing I remember is that the sister was in a wheelchair and it was a big thing about her wanting to go into the past because she was able to walk when she became someone else. This is driving me crazy and I’m convinced it wasn’t real lol so any help would be awesome!
openOld interview with Tom Baker and Mary Tamm Live Action TV
It was from early in his term as Doctor but he was already quickly becoming everyones favourite. The main two things I remember are that there was a contest to guess how long his scarf was and if you got it right youd get a replica full length as a prize. The other thing is they had call in questions for them so that viewers could call the show and talk direct to Tom and Mary. I want to find it so bad as I found it on youtube a while back but I cant seem to find it anywhere now. Any ideas on a title or time period or something?
Thanks. <3
openTV show with an animated scene about Albert Hoffman discovering LSD. Live Action TV
It was on the Science Channel or History Channel, and the whole show wasn't animated, which is why I categorized it the way I did.
The animation looked like early CGI, kind of the Money for Nothing music video, only less cartoony.
I remember he was ride a bike and basically going to hell as recent of testing the drug.
openSketch about Superman missing in a time of crisis. Live Action TV
There's a sketch comedy in the late 1990s. Might be either Saturday Night Live or Mad TV. One episode had a sketch based on Superman where a comet, or a meteor, or even a meteorite is about to destroy the Earth, but Superman is unavailable, so the Daily Planet is visited by several superheroes who turn out to be useless. At the end, Perry White resignedly says something close to, "I guess we'll have to... say goodbye to Earth," followed by a Spinning Paper revealing a typewriter survived the destruction.
resolved Netflix - Two Families “Share” a House Live Action TV
Hi everyone!! So to preface I saw about an episode of this back in like 2019-2020 and it was in Spanish (but I can’t remember if I put on Spanish dub or thats what it’s originally in). It was comedy-drama about a wealthy family going broke and having to live in a house connected to another family, but they have this feud. The other family works in a sea-side market and I think the kid of one family likes the kid of the other? I believe they were also both single parents, one of all girls and one of all boys. It is not “The War Next-Door” fyi. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
openWhat sitcom is this? Live Action TV
There was a sitcom episode, that was probably airing on Family Channel (Canada), in which a family with a son was going out for dinner with a family that had a daughter.
In one scene, the son’s mom broke a lamp after accusing him of doing it, then asked him if “this crazy rampage [was] going to continue”.
Edited by MisterToodleooopenEducational TV series Live Action TV
I'm starting to get flashes of seeing an educational TV show I saw years ago in the early 2010s. It was set at the Manitobs Museum in Winnipeg (The Nonsuch ship gallery was prominentlty featured in my memories) and was about two mannequins who come to life and serve as the series hosts. I think it was on TVO and one episode the first toilets of Ancient Greece were discussed with a cartoon of a Minotaur doing its business.
openTom Baker Doctor Who episode Live Action TV
It's for my mom, she just remembers him climbing some rocks at one point and there was a hallucination scene with a huge hypodermic needle. She thinks the master was part of it but shes not sure. Any ideas?
Thanks.
openLate 90s/Early 2000s sci-fi show episode Live Action TV
I remember it was a sci-fi show that aired in the late 90s or early 2000s on the Sci-Fi Channel. It was the end of the episode, with the man and woman characters on the ship struggling to stand up during turbulence or some kind of attack on the ship. The woman is dressed in black evening wear and kicks off her high heels to get a better grip on the floor. Later on, it shows her kidnapped and strapped to some kind of torture device, but the male protagonist realizes she's a hologram created by the villains because she's wearing the shoes she discarded earlier. He shoots the hologram with some kind of laser or phaser or something. I've looked up every sci-fi show I can remember from that period but can't determine which series it was ... or which episode.
openShow called 1899 Live Action TV

I've tried to look for it but i just get other media that were released that year. this show came out in 2022
openEarl grey tea commercial Live Action TV
A You Tube commercial I used to see all the time, for a tea company, in which this dude was dressed as like an 18th century aristocrat called "Lord Earl Grey" and gets punched out by a regular looking dude. The regular dude then says something about how people who feel intimidated by fancy tea companies should buy from this company instead.
openCommercial with woman making men melt Live Action TV
The commercial was a beautiful woman walking down the street. Any time she passes by a guy we see him suddenly turn into a splash or puddle of water.
One shot showed a close-up of two men sweating as she walks by, right before they explode into water. The woman seems unphased, even proud of this.
May have been an ad for clothing or makeup.
saw this on my grandparents' tv a couple years ago.
some thai tv drama thing, probably on channel 3 or channel 7. might’ve been a horror/mystery show. took place in some old house ( that the main character might’ve inherited or something? ), might’ve also been a period drama or have some historical element to it?
there was a scene where the main character was sneaking through the hallway at night and he accidentally dropped a vial or bottle of some sort. but when he went to get it, he found that someone else was there. there was this lady with short, somewhat wavy hair and wide eyes with dark circles underneath, like she hadn't been sleeping for like 23897648219 years. she might’ve been wearing sort of old-timey clothes ( not too old-timey, i say something like you’d see during the reign of king rama v ). she stared at him as she held the vial and started reciting the old lullaby(?), จันทร์เอ๋ยจันทร์เจ้า.
i remember seeing a later episode where the creepy lady actually teamed up with the main character for some reason. don’t remember much details, but they were sat together and eavesdropping on someone else who was in the house with them.
