Last night I watched some incredibly funny videos that made me laugh to extents I rarely laughed this year.

I may need to rewatch those videos right now, because right now I'm feeling anxiety and fear to extents I rarely had ever.

I work as a museum educator, which means that I plan content for guided tours, events for different age groups, among other programs and activities. In my work-calendar May is one of the crazy busy periods I have to deal with, since there will be loads of school-classes and adults on work retreats visiting right before the summer leave.

Among the bazillion things on my plate at the moment is a series of activity-days for kindergarteners, with various outdoor activity spots where the kids can play on their own, while supervised by their teachers. As I'm a folklorist, I had an idea to make things more fairytale-themed this year. Problem is, I've spent up most of my creativity in recent months, as I'm planning for weekly, monthly, and a yearly routines, while also adapting to spontaneous tasks that end up on my desk with zero notice.

So, only two activity spots I've figured out how to make more explicitly connected to fairytales, with one where they get to fish after horse-shoes for a Brook Horse, and another one where they get to deliver mail between trolls. Those two are based on actual local folk-tales. I do have enough stuff for them to do for fun, but not enough to market it as fairytale-themed, which I am a bit bummed about.

Is it my imagination or are a lot of characters named “Nebula” jerks?

I don't pay attention to fandoms or hatedoms. I just stay in my little corner appreciating my faves and making OCs and only occasionally coming out to look at pretty art. Most of the time the opinions of both are wrong anyway

I probably SHOULDN'T interact with the fandoms of certain works I like but I can't not talk to someone about the stuff I'm interested in and its easier to find people willing to listen in the fandom

(that said, the fandom of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime on twitter seems to be hard to find and on reddit the main sub is more of a hatedom at this point anyways so I've given up on that one)

So bad news: even with the new life-hack, I couldn't find a specific video I saw on YouTube, which was based on Splatoon (of the female Inkling kissing the male, and he's all happy... until he realizes she planted a Splat Bomb at his feet while he was in a lovestruck daze, after which it explodes and splats him)

The good news: I found ANOTHER old Splatoon video of The Heavy teaching the female Inkling how to speak, but she keeps going all "Woomy" until Heavy gets frustrated and explodes.

I was down to like 4600 to 4700 videos on my Watch Later list, but I'm creeping up to 5000 again.

Why can't people just stop making stuff?

...That's a lot of videos.

I've been on You Tube for over a decade.

There was a time that I was able to knock them all off, but after I quit the library I slowly built it up again.

Like how I have over 3000 favorites, maybe three dozen Vocaloid playlists, thousands of Pinterest pins...

I just spend way too much time online.

But hey, how many people these days don't.

Just spent ages running around Minecraft, collecting cool stuff, crossing the ocean, all just to find a decent place out of the endless desert biome to live and just as I'm there and digging a hole to hide in for the night... bam. Creeper.

RIP that game I guess I'll never be able to find that area again 😭

Both my brothers and I will be visiting our parents this weekend, but each motivated by completely separate events that just happen to fall on the same weekend. Talk about Contrived Coincidence!

My random thought is to post the Lyricis of Boyhiamian Ryspidty.

My Sugar Rush OC would be friends with Minty Sakura (the Japanese Palette Swap of Minty Zaki) and Crumbelina DiCaramello. Since he's a boy, this would also be a Two Girls and a Guy trio, similar to Rancis, Candlehead and Taffyta.

...no, I'm not comfortable thinking if he'd also join in on the racers bullying Taffyta, he could just be added to the game after it got reset.

I liked it when Spike had a great big crush on Rarity. :) It’s very cute. As a matter of fact, it inspired a part of my own writing. In my seventh book, Anne-Marie and Lynessa’s son Julian has a great big crush on Max’s girlfriend Anna. Wouldn’t you if you found out you share a birthday with a beautiful vampire lady? ;)

Imagine my surprise when I find that Brenda Song, who I mainly knew as London Tipton, not only also voiced Anne Boonchuy but was born the same year as me.

Uhhh... spastic is a slur related to muscle spasm. And it's a very offensive one.

Nintendo had to recall copies of Mario Party 8 in UK for this reason.
