How to create your own troper page
Note: if you started with a handle beginning with a number or containing an non-alphanumeric, you need to make a handle beginning with a letter and only containing alphanumerics.
- Click on your name in a forum post of yours or click your profile picture on the upper right corner of the screen and select "Troper Page" from the drop down menu.
- On the page that appears, click on the edit button.
- Edit the page. If you want markup help, click on the "Show Markup Help" button.
- Save your changes.
- You're done. Congratulations! Give yourself a cookie.
I would also like to know how can I add tropes to my page.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Thanks for the clarification. I do believe that I've been visiting the site since late 2014, but I just created an account on here a little over a week ago, and I'm trying to figure out how things work here.
The contributors page has no edit option. Was it removed or can I just not edit it?
I don't know what I'm doing honestly and I'm sorry for all the dumb questions. Also, I had no idea I had an account until like 2020.Your page is here: ISS600. Looks editable to me.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I would like to do a contributor's page for me. What should I put in there?
People usually give some brief information about themselves, lists of works they like or things they've contributed to the wiki, a list of tropes about themselves...
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIt's also acceptable to use your troper page as a sandbox, though it's not the primary intended use (that's what the Wiki Sandbox and the Sandbox/ namespace are for).
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Lemme see.
Of course I'm an expert- I'm Larry Mullen Jr.'s son's bandmate's father's ex-coworker's daughter. What's the difference between a Tropers Page and a Contributors Page? I've created my own troper page, but I can not find the tools directory for the life of me.
"Hmm... it appears that browsing this wiki doesn't seem to violate any school rules. Continue." | My WallThey are the same thing. The Contributors index is generated automatically and no longer requires any action on your part.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The OP should probably be edited to reflect that Contributors is indexed automatically, and that you can alternatively edit https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Tropers/%Username% to create a Troper page.
Also as asked in ATT, is there anything that should not be on Troper page?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupGenerally from what I can tell: hate speech, threats/complains against wiki members, spam, otherwise illegal/content-policy breaking things.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Hello!
I know this isn't really the place to ask this (didn't know where else to put it lol), but if I want to make a folder for my OCs and I lift their bios from someplace else (this is a situation in which I wrote the original bios), would that be considered plagiarism?
It'd be self-plagiarism, but still plagiarism, because copyright rules are wonky.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIt wouldn't be considered self-plagiarism, because that concept is somewhat different from plagiarism and has nothing to do with our plagiarism policy. Unless you can prove that a) the lifted text was yours and b) there aren't any copyright shehanigans involved, we'd assume it was normal plagiarism.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWe forbid articles for OCs. If you have published a work, that work can get an article, and the work article can list your characters. Otherwise it doesn't belong here.
You may of course use your personal Tropers page as you wish, including drafting trope lists for things you are writing, but you may not create subpages of your Tropers page and you may not create orphaned Characters subpages. You may also create an article in Darth Wiki for a work you are writing and index it under Unpublished Works, but again such an article may not have subpages.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"This is a really cool site, been busy browsing tropes about my favorite shows, games and books! I honestly do not know how many hours I have sunk into this website alone-
I probably have no idea what the hell I'm saying so take it with a grain of salt and do some research.Hello, how can I add a post in the "Banned: forum?
If you're banned, just click the add post button and do so as usual. If you're not, you can't. But that's not really for this thread?
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Glad I found this thread. I've been trying to figure how to make a troper page for myself for a while.
Reopened the thread with the parts about adding pages to the list of Contributors removed (since Tropers/ pages are no longer indexed).

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Bumping the question if #1 should also include "Alternatively, open the blank https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Tropers/{{YourUsername}}" page (don't forget to change the template to your username) and edit it." so new tropers won't have to post for the sake of clicking on own profile.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThere's an upcoming fix that will make the contributor page more accessible. I can update the header when it's pushed live.
Macron's notesAnnd said fix has been pushed live! You can now access your troper page via your profile drop-down menu
Going to edit the header post soon.
