Content Violations Review: Fanfic.A Family Full Of Freaks

~justarandomguy has raised a cutlist request, on the basis that this fanfic contains "Sexual content involving minors."

Feels like that's something we should take via the usual CVD route ahead of any cut. I can't see it listed on The Content Policy.

justarandomguy: reporting the page and going via Content Violation Discussions ensures that not only is it cut (if it violates the policy), but that we've got an audit trail, and that we put locks in place to stop anyone recreating it.

This doesn’t mean we should insta-cut, but it’s worth noting that every example is low on context or an outright ZCE.

I skimmed through it and chapter 1 contais no sexual content. Chapter 2 has a scene with Rita, Lars and Lucy, though I don't now much about them or their ages.

I've seen a few episodes of The Loud House and know that Rita is an adult in the show, Lucy is 8 years old within the first six seasons and 9 in season 7 and I have no idea who Lars is. So unless the characters are aged up within this fic and Lucy is no longer underage, I'd say cut the fic.

Absolute cut. Lars is the gender bend of Lucy so he's also very young, and the fic even mentions his penis length being "not bad for his age." The first chapter takes place at their school so they're clearly not aged up. Rita is the characters' mother, BTW.

Amused I've become associated with this from pointing out how weirdly common it is. Can we check to see if it's the same people making pages for these fics?

Why did justarandomguy even create the page to begin with? My best guess is he didn't realize the fic was a paedofic until he cutlisted it.

I hear some people want to hear my side of the story, I will tell you. First of all JHD 0919 yes I am the person who created the TV Tropes page for this story. Geo Soul (the creator of the story) started a pm with me on fanfiction.net. He asked me if I have a TV Tropes page and when I told him I have an account, he asked me if I can please consider putting at least one of his fanfics on TV Tropes. He sent me a list of stories and I chose this one because I only make TV Tropes pages for Loud House stories that are not crossovers because while I know The Loud House very well, I am not that familiar with other fandoms. He sent me the message when only chapter 1 was out and even though I did read the story description before chapter 1, like animuacid said it had no sexual content and like JHD 0919 said I did not realize it was a paedofic, so I thought it was ok to make a page for, especially since there are pages allowed for other Loud House things like stories Javisuzumiya made and the Sin Kids. Then I found out chapter 2 was posted while I was adding tropes for chapter 1 and took a look at it. Then I saw the sexual parts in it and I stopped working on the page after that. After chapter 3 was posted, he asked me if I was going to update the TV Tropes page. I did not want to be mean to him, so I told him I am trying to figure out what tropes to add but in reality I did not want to work on it anymore. I did not know how to delete a TV Tropes page, so I just left and abandoned it. As for why I did not send a request to take down this story until today, I can explain that to. Ever since I first created my TV Tropes account, the only things I ever do on this site are look up and add tropes. This morning is the first time I ever hit the discussion button and after reading things in a discussion, I found out stories like this should not be on this site and how to get them removed. After finding out this information, I remembered I started a TV Tropes page for this story and immediately sent a request to take it down. I hope that is what happens to it.

Thanks for the context, and for flagging it. Yeah, sounds like the first chapter was innocuous enough. But there's no way we want the later stuff troped here, imo.

Telling the creator that TV Tropes forbids the creation of pages with sex between preteens and pure porn isn't mean. Go let him know!
