Oh, this is gonna be awesome.
Trust no one. This ain't look good to be honest.
Fury Road is one of my favourite movies... probably ever... but this trailer look like some cheap straight-to-viedo sequel.
Maybe it's just bad CGI and they'll improve it before a premiere. I'll try to be optimistic.

HOT. SHIT. This looks like it's gonna be great. I gotta catch up on the first three Mad Max movies, catch my friend up on all four and then show him Last Night in Soho because of Anya Taylor-Joy there too—or I might show him Last Night in Soho in between instead.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure that Anya Taylor-Joy would be able to pull off looking like a younger Charlize Theron, especially with how big her eyes are. But after seeing this, I'm definitely giving her a chance.
Trust no one.Anya Taylor-Joy is without a doubt on the rise. I definitely enjoy her in whatever I see her in and this and Super Mario Bros. are each without a doubt gigantic wins for her career.
I'm very optimistic about this one.
Is Chris Hemsworth supposed to be Immortan Joe? Yeah I know I could easily figure this out by doing a Google search though.
No, he's playing a guy called Dementus.
In fact, I'm pretty sure there's a scene in the trailer where Dementus meets Joe himself.
Trust no one. Here’s the page if anyone wants it.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Again, she's an excellent choice and both that poster and the thumbnail where she's dodging the fire—especially the latter—really get me pumped to see her in the role.
I didn't know if that scenario of him meeting Immortan was imagined or not. Haha. Who's playing Immortan by the way?
The CG definitely looks less polished but maybe it’s just not completely finished. This still looks dope though.
What bothers me more is the "45 years after the collapse"… until now, the movies had carefully avoided giving any specific timeline for a reason. Are we supposed to believe that the Max we’ve seen in Fury Road is 70-to-80 years old?
George Miller has implied that Tom Hardy's Max is not the same person as Mel Gibson's, so probably not.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonYeah. Even while only seeing Fury Road, I'm definitely getting that continuity with this series is not something they want you to think about.
The high concept is that they're all adaptations of folktales from the post-apocalypse, so... definitely not.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableSo this isn't the same Furiosa?
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).No it's clearly supposed to be. They're not really playing fast and loose with continuity here. They WANT to continue the association with Fury Road of course.
EDIT 3/19: New trailer dropped.
