This is the thread for requesting page moves when you want to preserve the page history.
A few rules:
- We do not handle wicks, indexes and custom titles here. If you ask for a page move, it's still your responsibility to handle these.
- We can't do page splits or mergers here.
- Please refrain from asking moves on pages with no useful history.
- The page mover tool requires that the destination page be nonexistent or cut. If you want to move a page to an existing redirect, please use the Cut List and ensure that the page is a Red Link before coming here.

Is there a way to move the page histories of Art Nouveau prior to its move as a Useful Notes, and the history of when it was part of Useful Notes?

Sounds to me like you'd need to merge the histories for that. I dunno if it's possible, ~kory can this be done at a database level?

x4 just to know the history behind why it was moved to Useful Notes, and if there are remaining examples that had been dewicked by then. And I never understood why Art Nouveau was moved to be a Useful Notes page, while the companion trope Art Deco wasn't.

Was a mistake made? And is this a one-time thing? If it’s a one time thing I could look into doing it, but we don’t have time to be doing stuff like this in the future with the live database and should instead prevent this scenario from happening.
