"Blame Canada" and "What Would Brian Boitano Do?" (both from South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut) have a Movieclips watermark.

The clip from Jaws showing Quint's introduction is listed as having Great White Hunter for the primary trope and Nails on a Chalkboard as a secondary trope; furthermore, this clip is visible on the Video Examples page for "Great White Hunter" but for some reason it's not on the Video Examples page for "Nails On A Chalkboard", despite the latter trope being what makes the scene one of the film's most iconic (not to mention being part of Quint's Establishing Character Moment), and the former being a secondary (at best) part of the scene (Quint's Great White Hunter tendencies are better shown in the scenes on the Orca).

In my honest opinion, the clip showing Quint's introduction scene should have "Nails on a Chalkboard" as the primary trope, and "Great White Hunter", "Father Neptune", and "Establishing Character Moment" as secondary tropes.

A video example error I reported earlier was ignored, so I'm reporting the issue again, this time with what I hope is more clarity to ensure the problem is corrected.

I created a page for the comic book tie-in to the Justice League cartoon's Justice League Unlimited era and saw that there was a Video Examples page for Justice League Unlimited, which need to have their sources corrected to plain old Justice League, as the Unlimited seasons were essentially just extensions of the regular Justice League cartoon and the Western Animation wick for Justice League Unlimited redirects to that very page.

~Captain Tedium This isn't the thread to ask for those fixes so that's why they weren't done. You need to go to this thread and wait for a mod or engineer to process it. Make sure you give enough information so that they know what needs to be changed and how.

"Dark Lords Army" in Keystone Army is redundant with the page image. Is this worth a look or is it fine?

If we should pull, the voiceover can be a caption, as there's no caption for the page image at the moment.

I don't think image/video duplication is a problem. A video will always have more content than an image, and an image is front and center on the page whereas a video may eventually be buried.

Bound and Gagged has a video example when it's not supposed to. Might wanna take care of that.

Good to know because I plan on tossing up part of the Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan OP as a video example for Lacerating Love Language when I launch it despite the page image being a still from it

The game's been out for a week so it's fine.

The "Jaundice" video for Bystander Syndrome is 11 seconds long and has two issues with it.

The clip consists of a YT reactor giving a voice over that states the heroes sit around and do nothing while a girl is bullied in front of them, and how they do nothing to stop the bullying of Jaune either. However, the YT reactor has cut the scenes so badly, it no longer visually demonstrates the trope in action, so we're just being told the trope is in play rather than witnessing it for ourselves.

The other problem is that the YT reactor is wrong about Jaune being an example of the trope because the heroes do try to intervene, but Jaune won't let them. The whole arc is about Jaune learning to ask for help and accepting it when it's offered.

So, we have a bit a weird situation going on with this upload. If it was a video of the uncut scene directly from the episode, it would indeed show the heroes sitting around watching the girl being bullied and not intervening and it would only be 23 seconds long. Instead of doing this, someone's uploaded a badly cut YT reactor's voice over. It just seems like a weird decision to make.

Should this video remain or be removed? If I knew how, I'd make a replacement video clip myself of the uncut scene to swap in, but I just don't know how to do that.

I mean, does it matter how correct the reviewer is here? They're discussing the trope as it pertains to RWBY. Right or wrong, the actual trope is still at least being touched upon.

The reactor is talking about two events. One event is the trope (the girl being bullied). One event is misuse of the trope (Jaune being bullied). That's why it would have been much easier to just upload the uncut scene from the episode than a fan comment that's half right and half wrong.

So, it's okay to blur together use and misuse of a trope?

I mean, it's not misuse from the standpoint of "the reviewer is discussing the concept". It's only misuse if you know the context of RWBY, and even then it's less "misuse" and more "an inaccurate explanation of events".

If others agree it's a problem I can go and reject the video, but I approved it with this mentality — that the trope is coming from the reviewer's discussion of the events depicted, not the actual series itself.

Okay, that's fair enough. I guess that's the same idea as using images from works that don't necessarily portray the trope if you know the context of the show in question, but which do a good enough job of visualising what the trope is trying to say when taken in isolation?

I migrated Llan-ar-goll-en from Western Animation/ to Series/, but haven't taken care of the video examples which are still in the former namespace. Could somebody get going on that?
