Those are all discarded now, as is Inventory Control.

• Adaptation Plot Removal: Created on the grounds that "Adapted Out is only for characters" which, if it was true at the time, certainly isn't now.
• Constant Character Sound Effect: Abandoned stub; never edited.
• Cool Ship Junior: Legacy Vessel Naming has since launched.
• Testing for guilty knowledge: Isn't this just Bluffing the Murderer?
• You Want What You Can't Have: Forbidden Fruit.

• I Concede: Abandoned since 2014, covered by I Let You Win and Know When to Fold 'Em.

Mid Photo Hijinks: The sponsor reworked it into another draft, Last-Second Photo Failure.

Yeah, that was a dupe that I discarded instantly, I think? No idea why someone dragged it back up.

• Cryptozoology is Paranormal: Abandoned stub with no in-draft examples.
• Dangerously Delicious: Abandoned stub.
• Longlived family name: Abandoned, unformatted stub.
• No Dub For You: No Dub for You was eventually launched.
• Strategies Galore: Abandoned with no trope description.

Here's some more questionable drafts:

• Fanned Fingers of Elemental Wrath: Is there anything here that justifies a split from Hand Blast (which, as per the description, covers fingers)?
• Fourth-wall Interface: Abandoned and unformatted; looks to me like downplayed Interface Spoiler.
• Never Appreciated The Value: Happiness Realized Too Late and Belated Love Epiphany cover most of this.
• Power Is Bad Aesop: Ambition Is Evil, Drunk with Power, and With Great Power Comes Great Insanity seem to cover this.
• Self-Improvement Quest: Drew comments questioning the distinction with To Be a Master, and didn't go anywhere for 10 years after that.
• Unusual Job Establishment: Seems to be Batman Cold Open.

The last one would be broader than Batman Cold Open since it doesn't have to be a Cold Open, and its function seems to be to help the audience understand someone's place in a setting before getting into the big action.

• Nets Never Work: There might be a grain of something here, but it's totally unformatted and complainy.

• Living Historical Scenery: I don't see the distinction from Historical Domain Character. OP claims that the existing trope is for works of fiction whereas this draft is for Biopics and the like, but the examples don't reflect that.

This thread is for old, abandoned drafts as the OP states. If the sponsor hasn't tried to fix it in three days, the draft can just be discarded by anyone in the community.

Decoy Fight duplicates Distracting Fake Fight.

I feel like we might want to run through the tropes with the most discards and see what's salvageable. Most of them have been long since abandoned, some of them sitting on hold for years.

Sorting by most bombs, I'm shocked to find that a number of them deal with LGBTQ themes. Shocked, I say. This has never happened before.

Note that many of the "most bombed" drafts still have more hats than bombs.

I say we can skip over anything where the hats clearly outnumber the bombs; I think the LGBT tropes are safe.

Given that it's been put on hold and the OP was banned, I support discarding Spring Break Plot and starting over again. I think the concept is tropeworthy if it focuses on the portrayal of spring break as a time for attractive young people partying too hard.

Looking over my adopted Lying By Omission draft, is there a difference between Lying by Omission and Exact Words? If there isn't, please bomb it so I can nuke it?

My chosen page quote is even on Quotes.Exact Words: Anime and Manga, just a rephrasing / re-translation and more context of what's on Quotes.Metaphorically True.

The only Lying by Omission example I'd say isn't Exact Words is more Sarcastic Confession?
