[up]dare I ask what that video was?

Personally, I was never subscribed to the Fine Bros, since I've always found their videos to be more exploitative than anything, no matter the subject.

Most of the Skeptic community I left when it became less about critical analysis and often about making fun of others. There's a few I've still subscribed to mostly because they still do analysis of certain sorts, although it's usually not political in nature.
As far as I've seen, most people who make videos like that tend to mostly stick to videos like "grrr feminism is bad you guys, kill the feminazis." Ironically, with half the stuff their videos tend to be about, they seem to be more gullible than the people they think they're better then (which is everyone).

For a more innocuous thing, I subscribed to ProJared's Let's Play channel when he was doing his Mighty No 9 LP, since I found that entertaining, but then pretty much immediately unsubscribed after it was done, since I'm not interested in any of his other let's plays. I mean I guess the Pokemon Go one seems fun but meh. I like his reviews, but he's not that engaging of a Let's Player.

I dropped JonTron after this happened and haven't watched him in any substantial quality since. (The person I was arguing with and I have since reconciled, but I couldn't go back to being okay with watching Jon's stuff because he refused to apologize on account of it being 'censorship'.)

That being said, I still think "is that a poop rat?" every time I see Cheasel around the Web.

I haven't been compelled to unsub from anyone else, though. Generally speaking I haven't found anyone that has gone way past my standard as far as what's okay to joke about and such; and typically even if I do watch something with offensive jokes it's more of an eye-rolling sort of crass than a "holy shit that is not okay" crass (because if it were the latter I wouldn't be subscribed in the first place).

Normally, I unsub when there's general loss of interest. For recent cases:

  • Used to follow SuperSkarmory, since his videos were entertaining (especially his Self-Imposed Challenge of catching legendary Pokémon in Poké Balls tongue). Unsubbed because I haven't seen any updates in—well, any ongoing project from him—in quite a while. Let's just say I got tired of waiting and got bored.
  • Subbed to Master0fHyrule, since I enjoyed his compilation stuff. After noticing vid after vid of Smash Mods from him though, I got tired of it and unsubbed. I refuse to mod any game that I play, so that series does not get my interest.

I've never really understood unsubscribing from someone just because they don't upload often. It's not like it causes any clutter to keep them in your subscriptions.

Unsubscribed from Malacritico because he deleted most of his videos and changed his channel's content from reviews to acting.

I really only unsub when someone radically changes their content, or just stops being funny.

Yeah, I'm gonna jump on the Pew Die Pie train here, as well as mentioning that I unsubbed from Tobuscus for basically the same reason. Both of them were fun to watch at first, but after a while their senses of humor changed and I kinda got sick of them. Discovering that Markiplier existed and was fifty times funnier than they ever were didn't help their cases.

I also unsubbed from Game Grumps when Arin started to take a bit of a turn for the worse. Flame shield up I guess, but me and my friend Sparky alike started to think he was acting a bit unpleasant, and it tarnished the show for me, so I abandoned it and never looked back.

Otherwise I've never really unsubscribed from anyone, though I do tend to forget I'm subscribed to certain people, like Alltime10s and AKSpartanKiIIer for example. Pretty much all the Minecraft YouTubers I'm subbed to get that treatment from me, save for DanTDM who I still binge from time to time. I haven't watched a Deadlox or SkyDoesMinecraft video in literal years.

Jacksepticeye I was subscribed to him since his first Don't Starve Let's Play when he had less than 300 subscribers but I realized I haven't been watching the videos he uploaded in about 3 months so I decided to unsubscribe. I liked his earlier videos.

Renegades React I got sick of them hating on the DCEU even in things that didn't relate to the DCEU.

I really don't like DSP Gaming and I thankfully never subscribed. I admit that I never heard of this guy prior to the whole "This How You do not play X" but after watching those videos, it is clear to me that DSP Gaming is an idiot who cannot seem to play the games he features. He doesn't read the instructions and tutorials in the games he plays even when it is right in front of him and he blames the games for his own failures. I understand if it is his time playing those games but he needs to learn how to play the games he features on his channel.

Odd 1 - I get what you mean, but originally some of them were about particular topics and looking at them with an actual analytical eye. It wasn't about say creationism as much as it was about understanding various terms used and how they can relate to a person's worldview, whether that be one of logical positivism or one more on the metaphysical side of things.

I don't really subscribe to anyone since I only really log in to my account for age restricted videos. Still, there are a few channels I've stopped keeping up with. The main ones to come to mind:

Smosh - A few years ago, I noticed I was gradually laughing less and less at their videos until I just stopped watching them altogether.

The Fine Bros - I actually stopped watching them before the whole React World fiasco. I became less interested in them once William left Kids React (who I thought was the funniest). Not to mention I thought Teens React was one of the dumbest ideas ever because read any You Tube video's comments and you'll see teens' reactions.

Grade A Under A - I found him funny when he'd just rant about relatable everyday things like public restrooms, haircuts, and job interviews. Then he started getting involved in You Tube drama and then he started making a bunch of political videos.

Watchmojo.com

I can't actually give you a good reason why I subscribed in the first place. Their videos are dull top tens, and not even good top tens. They all feel like cardboard. Don't know why I watched it so much.

Speaking of boring top 10s, I unsubbed from someone called Phantom Strider. A cartoon reviewer, who reviews cartoon shows in the way of top/worst 10s. Now don't get me wrong, he's a really nice, humble guy, in fact thats one reason why I stuck with him for so long because he was likeable. But he constantly re-uses some of the same shows over and over again, for example if you've seen his top 10 worst cartoon network/Nickelodeon shows, he will probably have a LOT of the same shows on their for his top 10 worst shows of all time, or a top 10 ugliest cartoons of all time list. In fact it got to the point where I could just end up predicting what shows were going to be where on each list it got that predictable. If he used one show for one list that would be great, but it just gets a bit too predictable.

Smosh: Their content stopped being funny or entertaining to me -shrugs-

Jontron: I've noticed some weird change that happened sometime around Season 4, and I don't mean him moving or whatever change in location happened. Jokes aren't as funny, and it just feels like he's trying too hard to be over-the-top in some of his newer videos. Started noticing this around the Disney Bootleg video, and haven't fully watched a new vid since.

Channels I unsubscribed from, huh? I have two...

  • The Richest, which is basically a Top 10 channel that covers interesting, unbelievable topics... problem is, they upload videos daily and basically become quite the subscription feed hog. I lost interest in them pretty quickly.
  • Lost Pause. This is an anime channel where a guy called "Noble-senpai" does anime-related videos and Let's Plays. However, I'm kinda distancing myself from the anime community as a whole because of how female characters are increasingly being sexualised, which is honestly driving me up the wall. Add Noble's possibly-unintentional transphobic comments while taking an anime sexuality/gender identity quiz (though he at least looked up some of the gender identities he was unfamilliar with) and even more transphobia in the comments section of that video and... yeah, I ended up unsubscribing from him. I am still following The Anime Man and akidearest because IMO they do put out better content, and... yeah. Needless to say, Noble bugged me even before the LGBT quiz video, and I dunno why.

I think there was one more, but if there was I can't remember it, so...

-The Gamer From Mars: A case of Artifact Title where all he does now is stupid You Tube celebrity/clickbait junk.

-A few Doctor Who focused channels: I haven't watched Doctor Who in over a year, and while I still consider myself a fan, I'm not nearly as into it as I used to be.

-Centeau The INTJ: Another bit of Artifact Title where he was A. Terrible at keeping a consistent upload schedule and B. Stopped talking about INTJ related stuff and started doing some video game stuff (not the kind I was interested in).

-Space Hamster: Subscribed mostly because he's a close friend of one of my all time favorite YouTubers, Peanut Butter Gamer, unsubscribed because I never watched his stuff due to lack of interest and felt his style was a bit too similar to PBG's and not as funny. (I do realize that he and Peebs are friends and thus their senses of humor have likely rubbed off on each other, and Jeff used to edit his videos so visually they're quite similar.) I still occasionally watch his stuff, I just don't like him enough to subscribe full time.

There are some where I've subscribed and then unsubscribed soon after, but I don't really count those.

iiSuperwomanii: I really hated all her list videos (which was like a good chunk of her content). At that time I was anti list videos. She acted like everything was relatable while I'm there like "what the...?" (In her defense I am not Indian, I'm SE Asian). Also I really hate how popular she became (interesting enough she was under 1M subs when I unsubscribed, now she is 10M subs) but I think that's my inner It's Popular, Now It Sucks! speaking.

Hoodie Panda: I subbed to him because I thought he was cute. Then I actually watched one of his videos and turns out he cannot really commentate.

That's all I can think of for now.

I've noticed several people on here mention unsubbing from Jon Tron, well you can add another person to that list. I've kinda been putting up with his goofs for a while on Twitter, but recently a few of his outburst have just been too grating. I'll probably still watch the occasional video, but I'll just ignore almost all of his political jokes from now on I guess.

Oh, I just unsubscribe from a channel called Anime America: while I find them interesting and entertaining, I just wasn't watching their daily uploads, and while I do like few anime series, I'm not really a huge member of the general anime fanbase.

Also, I unsubscribe from a trio of Booktubers (it's exactly what it sounds like), not because they're bad, they're very entertaining videos, I just never watch them anymore.
