@ Dem: To add to what Enlong said, it's probably akin to how animals with rabies transmit their disease through infected saliva. Since zombies typically regress to a similarly animalistic level of sentience and behavior, it's not a stretch to assume it's similar principles in play.

Definitely still feels like the zombies really are a threat, yeah. I like that it hasn’t turned into solely comedy.
