That girl was so stunning, but I am so much prettier!
Cassidy and Marah, Thunder Storm. The characters (both portrayed by Katrina Devine) see each other and both comment on the other's beauty before claiming that they're much prettier.

  • Three examples are hard to spot - Barnie Duncan and John Tui, previously Piggy and "Doggie" Cruger in S.P.D., are virtually unrecognizable without their heavy prosthetics in the roles of Toby and Daggeron, apart from their distinctive voices. And Kelson Henderson is completely unrecognizable under prosthetics, hideous dentures, and a different voice in the role of Phineas. Mystic Mother is almost this, sharing an actress with Rita Repulsa, but it's explained they're one and the same.
  • Jarred Blakiston played an extra in a single episode of Power Rangers Megaforce before returning in Power Rangers Dino Charge as the Commuting on a Bus Graphite Ranger Prince Phillip.
  • Because of a dearth of black actors in New Zealand, James Gaylyn has played numerous roles in Ninja Storm on. In addition to voice roles, he played a sensei in Power Rangers Ninja Storm, a shopkeeper in Power Rangers S.P.D., Col. Mason Truman in Power Rangers RPM, and Shelby's unnamed father in Power Rangers Dino Charge.
  • Kelson Henderson started off in a small role in one episode of Power Rangers: Dino Thunder before becoming a string of recurring characters: Boom on Power Rangers S.P.D., Phineas on Power Rangers Mystic Force, Flit on Power Rangers Jungle Fury, Mick on Power Rangers Ninja Steel and Power Rangers Dino Fury, Cruise on Power Rangers Beast Morphers, and has voiced the Monster of the Week on several occasions too.
  • Edwin Neal, aside from being the suit actor for villains such as Lord Zedd, Rygog, and Deviot, had several minor roles throughout the initial eight seasons where you CAN see his face. Just to name a few; he was the referee for Jason and Tommy's match in "Green With Evil Part I", Zedd's purified state in In Space's finale "Countdown to Destruction", and the construction worker with bad teeth who was twitterpated with Trakeena's human guise in Lost Galaxy's "Stolen Beauty".
  • Doug Sloan (a series writer) played Kimberly's Uncle Steve in "Foul Play in the Sky" and her mother's new boyfriend in "Return of an Old Friend". Its somewhat popular in fanon that they're the same person and Kimberly's mother left him for his brother. (As a side note, he also played Tyler Steele in the pitch reel for Cybertron, which became VR Troopers.)
  • Ogie Banks was used as an extra in several crowd shots in MMPR before (and briefly after) he was cast in Season Two's "Green No More" as Zane, the Black Dark Ranger.
  • Jhoanna Trias can be seen in the aforementioned Cybertron reel as Mia Chong. She appeared alongside Ogie Banks in "Green No More" as Tina, the Yellow Dark Ranger.
  • The unidentified actresses who played Bulk and Skull's mothers in MMPR Season One's "Return of an Old Friend" and in Season Three's "Alien Rangers of Aquitar" also played two punkish girls in Season Two's "Goldar's Vice-Versa" that were obsessively pursuing the titular duo.
  • Timothy Guest who played Mr. Hank Anderson in MMPR Season Two's "The Ninja Encounter", previously played a couple of parts in Season One; Monty Conte in "Trick or Treat" and a putty patroller who disguised himself as an old streetside salesman to trick Zack into aiding Rita's plot in "An Oyster Surprise", which was the Season One finale.
  • Tracy Lynn Cruz, known for playing Ashley Hammond, can be seen as an extra in the background of Mighty Morphin' Season Three's "I'm Dreaming of a White Ranger" during its' opening scene. Some theorists believe that it may be Ashley herself given the timing and placement of the event.
  • Traci Bellushi played one of Dex's Edenite friends, Zarius, in MMPR Season Three's "A Friend in Need" and returned in an episode of Zeo as Jennifer, a girl of the week Rocky crushes on. She'd also play the Pipettes in Big Bad Beetleborgs.
  • Rajia Baroudi previously played a guest role in Mighty Morphin' Season Three before getting to play Delphine in the Alien Rangers saga. She'd also return to voice Hexuba in Lost Galaxy (using her voice for Jara from Beetleborgs).
  • Sarah Joy Brown, better known for Kaitlin Starr in VR Troopers, guest-starred as champion snowboarder Heather Thompson in a three-parter for Power Rangers Zeo.
  • In Power Rangers Turbo, we meet a drag racer named Robert in episode 7 "Built for Speed", and way down the line in episode 42 "The Rival Rangers", Ashley and Cassie would compete for the affections of a new student named Bobby. They were played by the same actor, and it's really unclear whether or not they were intended to be the same guy.
  • John McGee would feature in Turbo's “Glyph Hanger” as Adam's boss Mr. Peabody before playing General Norquist in the season finale and three episodes of In Space.
  • Before playing Marina in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, Kamera Walton had previously voiced Psycho Yellow (and played her when the Psycho Rangers took up human appearances).
  • Rachel Monet Koda, who played Nancy Cooper in Lightspeed Resuce, returned for a couple of guest spots in episodes of Time Force and Wild Force. In Time Force, she played a girl named Traci that Trip unsuccessfully tried to flirt with while in Wild Force, she was a victim of an Org attack.
  • Rick Medina portrayed Cole the Red Ranger in Power Rangers Wild Force, and years later, was cast as Deker, one of the recurring villains in Power Rangers Samurai.
  • The late Grant McFarland played both Kanoi Watanabe-sensei and Lothor in Ninja Storm and returned in Samurai's "The Tengen Gate" as Daisuke.
  • Daniel Sing, who played the past teenage version of Sensei Kanoi Watanabe and his twin brother Kiya, the present-day Lothor from Ninja Storm, is the Mayor of Ninja Steel's Summer Cove, hence once more being part of a ninja-themed Ranger series.
  • Also between Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder, Katrina Devine plays Perky Female Minion Marah in the former and Alpha Bitch Cassidy in the latter. This gets lampshaded as well, see the quote.
  • Ismay Johnston had a small role as a TV announcer in Ninja Storm before starring in Dino Thunder.
  • James Napier played a minor role in the Power Rangers Ninja Storm finale before being one of the leads in the next season, Power Rangers: Dino Thunder, as Conner the Red Ranger. This was lampshaded when Conner mentioned that the Ninja Storm character was his twin brother.
  • Beginning as the voice of the White Dino Ranger Clone in Dino Thunder, Adam Gardiner has had a number of roles including Chimera's main face in Mystic Force, Kamdor, Bombardo (uncredited) and Loki (in the flesh) in Operation Overdrive, Toady in Jungle Fury, Skarf in Super Samurai, Shadow Serpent in Megaforce, Cybax in Super Megaforce before taking his most prolific role, the voice of Sledge in Dino Charge, Super Ninja Steel and Beast Morphers. He also voices Fortress in Dino Charge, played a reporter in the "Catching Some Rays" and Agent 00 Sven in the Super Ninja Steel episode "Car Trouble".
  • Miriama Smith played Elsa/Principal Randall in Power Rangers: Dino Thunder, and came back in Beast Morphers as Roxy’s aunt, Regina Collins.
  • Dwayne Cameron played a bully in one episode of Power Rangers: Dino Thunder. He was in the following season of Power Rangers S.P.D. as a former friend of the Blue Ranger. Two years later he went on to play Tyzonn, the Sixth Ranger of Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.
  • Antonia Prebble (Clare in Mystic Force) previously played two minor characters over the prior two years: Krista, "the tree girl" and Conner's prom date in Dino Thunder, and the Nova Ranger in the S.P.D. finale.
  • When he's not doing ADR work, Jim McLarty voices/portrays characters like Broodwing and Samurai's Grand Shogun, and an RPM government worker and a trapped civilian at the Legendary Battle.
  • Josephine Davison (Morgana in SPD and Itassis in Mystic Force) showed up in one episode of Ninja Steel as one of Sarah's teachers when she signs up for many clubs. Later, she also voiced Solon in Dino Fury.
  • Michael Saccente plays both Boom's dad in SPD, a civilian in Megaforce's Legendary Battle, and human Gorrox in Ninja Steel.
  • Holly Shanahan plays Leelee in Power Rangers Mystic Force and Camille in Power Rangers Jungle Fury. Both were villains who reformed and became allies to the Rangers.
  • Yoshi Sudarso was a stuntman for Samurai and Megaforce before playing Koda in Dino Charge.
  • Aaron Ward played Cody's father in the Super Samurai episode "The BullZord" and voiced the monster Loafer in Dino Super Charge's "Catching Some Rays".
  • Adrian Smith voiced Redker in Super Megaforce, Ninja in Dino Super Charge, Ripperat in Ninja Steel, Doomwave in Super Ninja Steel and Goldar Maximus in Beast Morphers.
  • Graziella Nunes played an office woman in the Legendary Battle and a villager in the Robo Knight Before Christmas.
  • Jason Fitch also played an office worker in the Legendary Battle after voicing the Armada's Navigator, both in Super Megaforce.
  • More like You Sound Familiar, but fans noticed that Randall Ewing, the voice actor who voiced Evox, has a name that is a very near anagram of Andrew Laing's, the voice actor for Venjix. This is no coincidence, as Randall Ewing was used as a pseudonym so as not to give away that Andrew Laing was in fact voicing Venjix in his return as Evox.
    • Other cases of You Sound Familiar are, frankly, incredibly common — in both the US and NZ eras of the show, there are only so many voice actors, so you'd hear the same few voices every season, and when Saban was doing other toku shows, you'd hear the voices there too. Since Saban was also in the anime dubbing business, many of the voices they employed for PR could also be heard in shows like Digimon (ie. Elgar briefly using a voice for a gag in an episode of In Space that his VO would later use as Veemon).
