- Special Effect Failure: The game is under construction, so of course you will find missing features that are considered low priority. The most notable concern to the lack of animation of animals like bears, lions and goats. Wild animals that share models with domestic animals, like elephants, horses and wolves, on the other hand, are already completed.
- Spiritual Successor: To the Age of Empires series, taking heavy cues from the first game while greatly expanding all mechanics and customizing each civ.
- Visual Effects of Awesome: The game has a lot of truly spectacular graphics, especially while it's still technically an alpha. See here
