  • Alternative Character Interpretation: Scias attempts to kill the party despite Tia making it clear that doing so goes against the Rite of Destruction, since they have yet to gain all the Dragon Stones. Given his late-game dialogue about Tia mourning their deaths, it's possible that he wanted to kill Adol Christin early so that Tia doesn't have to experience the guilt of doing the deed herself.
  • Awesome Music: Franchise page here.
  • Fridge Horror: In the final dungeon, the party will fight a Mini-Boss mob made of monstrous versions of past Dragon Warriors. It's implied whenever the player gets a game over, Adol is also Reforged into a Minion.
  • Polished Port: XSEED Games hired Hyde, Inc. to port this game to Steam and it supports many advanced graphical options, including the ability to run at 4K rendering and 60 frames-per-second, a far cry from what the original PlayStation Portable version had.
  • Values Resonance: The real cause of the game's conflict is derived from Prime Minister Orbus' elitist and plutocratic policies, where he ties the prosperity of the nation solely to the affluence and well-being of its rich merchant class and considering the poorer residents of Altago to be completely expendable, to the point of wanting to destroy the slums of Old Town to make room for merchant spaces. This has heavy parallels with contemporary criticism of phenomenons like gentrification and governments prioritizing the interests of the wealthy at the expense of everyone else, which were relevant when the game released but have only become moreso in the years that followed.
