• Epileptic Trees: The true nature of the dungeon remains relatively obscure by the game's finale, but the fact that the final area is called "Aqours Memoria" and is the manifestation of collective sorrow heavily implies that it is somehow related to the main Love Live! Sunshine!! universe.
• Game-Breaker:
  • Mari's Time Stands Still ability is very, very broken. For 75 DP Mari will cast a magic spell that freezes everything onscreen except Yohane herself, allowing her to traverse areas unimpeded and mercilessly wail on foes. Bosses are not immune to this, meaning that once you get this upgrade the entire rest of the game becomes completely trivial. The only downside is that it is acquired very late, as it is the second to last upgraded friend attack you can obtain since it requires obtaining Ruby's upgrade, which requires obtaining You, the last character in the game.
  • Hanamaru's upgraded attack, the laptop bomb, deals very high damage to anything within its blast radius and with the right equipment and items, can one-shot most of the bosses in the game. The long activation can be removed by exploding the laptop yourself with your weapon. Unlike the ability above, you can get the laptop much earlier in the game.
• It's Short, So It Sucks!: Probably the biggest criticism about the game is that it feels a little bereft of content despite the price tag. Average playtime for a first playthrough tends to mete out at around 7 hours, but there is minimal side content to be had besides character upgrades and the game very quickly reaches a conclusion once you pick up the final Aqours member. There is limited variation between playthroughs beyond random item drops for the Item Crafting mechanic and the randomly-generated sections, meaning that the game is also lacking in Replay Value and offers little incentive to perform subsequent attempts except for Self-Imposed Challenge and Speedrun purposes. Fans wishes for more contents when another game, Yohane the Parhelion -NUMAZU in the MIRAGE-, receives additional paid contents with another playable characters and new stories.
