• Anti-Climax Boss: Mister Sinister goes down without a fight. Mystique catches him off guard then places his face against her comatose daughter Rogue’s.
• Continuity Lockout: This issue expects you to already know why Rogue is in a coma and the fact that Mystique murdered Moira MacTaggert.
• Jerkass Woobie: Mystique is usually evil but it is saddening to see all her hard work to revive Rogue turn out to be All for Nothing.
  Raven Darkhölme/Mystique: She’s supposed to wake up now. I saved her. Destiny told me if I saved her. And if I saved her, maybe she would love me again.
• Squick: Mister Sinister’s face “cracks” when it touches Rogue’s and it is a very unpleasant sight.
