- Obvious Beta: The game was forced into release on June 6, 2001 to coincide with D-Day. It was not even finished development let alone tested and debugged, resulting in one of the buggiest launches this side of Daggerfall.
- Older Than They Think - The game was released in 2001 and was in development since 1999.
- That One Level: The small Belgian town of Ciney. With its maze of tight alleyways, densely-packed buildings, and capture points within spitting distance of each other, it's been referred to as the game's own mini-version of Stalingrad. Any battle fought there with a decent server population is almost guaranteed to be an attritional house-to-house slugfest which generally runs in favor of whichever side has more automatic weapons.
