• Awesome Music:
  • The theme song by Annette Thomas is a genuinely rocking blaxploitation-style song.
  • As long and repetitive as the vehicle chase sequence is, the funky music during it makes it more tolerable.
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: An Asian swamp eel is focused on for no reason during a chase scene.
• Ethnic Scrappy: Lapu-Lapu, a random Filipino taxi driver who picks up the American hero at the airport and inexplicably becomes his confidential sidekick for the rest of the film.
• Fetish Retardant: Whether you find the actor playing Mike Harber attractive or not, his reaction to the brain sex is still so much Squick material. The actor's facial expressions and sounds can make one nauseous since it's so bizarre and unnatural in practice.
• Fight Scene Failure: Dear God, this could be called Fight Scene Failure: The Movie. Every single "fight" looks like two little kids roughhousing and play fighting at home just before bedtime. None of the punches connect and the girls all sport this strange, quasi kung fu stance that isn't related to any fighting style ever. Most of what they do are light slaps and flailing or trying to toss the other person on the ground.
• Ho Yay:
  • Despite clearly being heterosexual, Harber tells another man "You bet your sweet ass".
  • One of the henchwomen, Laura, suggests that Linda and Vera "get together and try brain sex".
• Padding: The film shoots some Real Life cockfighting for five minutes. The extended chase scene takes up ten minutes or so.
• Values Dissonance: The way women are treated in the film is pretty awful, but it's clear this film was intended as little more than cheap titillation. The really unfortunate part is that the film features a real cockfighting match, so anyone who loves animals, or just has a soul, will be immediately horrified when the scene surfaces, especially since said cockfight does not factor into the plot; it's simply where the lead goes to meet someone for information.
