  • Designated Hero: In chapter 40, Noble Six cripples Yang and cuts off her arm when she attacks him for killing her mother, who she didn't know was a remorseless bandit leader, and dumps her broken body at her home on Patch. Our hero, ladies and gentlemen.
  • Ron the Death Eater: Compared to canon, Ozpin is much more villainous and downright cruel. Wheras the canon Ozpin never forced any of his allies to side with him and even regrets lying to them about Salem, and having lots of patience and understanding when it comes to other people, Ozpin here willingly tortures his enemies and even kidnapping Maaya and Myne to ensure Six comes to him, firmly grasping both the Villain Ball and Idiot Ball. Even his death, in comparison to villains who genuinely deserve it, is quite sadistic and drawn out.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Considering that our protagonist hails from the darkest videogame in the Halo series and is dumped onto a world with its own fair share of horrors, this is to be expected.
    • The interrogation of Tyrian Callows in Chapter 19. As much as the Ax-Crazy Serial Killer deserves it after murdering Myne's family, calling what he goes through Cold-Blooded Torture is an understatement.
    • On a similar note, Noble Six's extermination of the Branwen Tribe in chapter 25. If there's something that can encapsulate Mook Horror Show in all its terrifying glory, the utter massacre that Six inflicts on the bandit clan would be it.
    • Ozpin's death in chapter 30, as karmic as it is, still deserves mention for how drawn-out and sadistic it is compared to Noble Six's previous kills. The fact that Six is doing it just to make him suffer rather than for any discernible goal is the icing on top.
