• Magnificent Bastard: All of the major events in the book are a test Imaginos designed for Morgan to determine if he can be trusted with a weapon capable of killing gods, the Starbreaker, and to give Morgan cause to hunt down Imaginos and challenge him so he can administer a final test of Morgan's abilities. It's a Batman Gambit that depends on Morgan refusing to turn his back on the whole mess and walk away.
