- Awesome Music: The entire soundtrack is amazing and really drives home the terror. Especially the music after Wonka says "Welcome to Paradise", which manages to be both heavenly and terrifying at the same time.
- The Woobie: Lofti. Losing his home, his wife, his child, and finally his mind.
- Woobie Species: The Oompa Loompas, even more than in the original.
