YMMV tropes for What Time Is It Mr. Wolf? include:
- Alternate Character Interpretation: Mr. Wolf himself; when you find out who he once was, it could be theorized that - if he's still aware of his actions, deep down - he's in a sort of And I Must Scream situation.
- Squick: There are plenty of examples that could fall under this trope; Traci's Femme Fatale behavior, the nature of the relationship between the Durcet brothers...
- Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: Russell is the only narrator with unquestionably selfless motives. His main goal is to get every child out to safety, and not a single one dies before he does. At that point, it can be hard to stomach the Mood Whiplash of the children treating one another as outright expendable.
