- The story plays fast and loose with Deep Sea Dolphin's characterization, following the fanon theory that she was driven insane by Zelas (which the author has since regretted). Among other things she turned into a gadfly, a major technophobe, and a sea life lover par excellence, and behaves more at times like a full-grown child than one of Ruby Eye's five mazoku lords. Much of this is Obfuscating Stupidity, but the fact remains.
- Similarly, Zelas is depicted as having gone go-karting with Luna Inverse, so to speak, having done such things as playing brass rackets with her without truly being considered a friend. Unlike the prior example, this was done with full knowledge of canon material.
