YMMV / What if Nappa Turned Good?

• Heartwarming Moments:
  • The reason why Nappa puts so much effort into serving the Son family and protecting Earth: Goku saved him from Vegeta and gave the old Saiyan a chance at a new life.
  • The reconcilliation between Nappa and Gohan in Part 6 and their subsequent fusion into Naphan. Also counts as a Moment of Awesome.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Tenshinhan and Chiatzou end up experiencing a Face–Monster Turn after being taken control of by Babidi, with Tenshinhan taking Spopovich's role in beating Videl (albeit much more honourably and humanely than Spopovich), with the two of them also being to ones who drain Gohan’s energy. Gohan in retribution ends up killing both when he goes under mind control by Babidi. You'd think with this serious of a dynamic change within the team itself, Masakox would devote sometime to actually offering reconciliation between the pair, but Tenshinhan and Chiatzou seemingly never get wished back or even brought up again after Gohan brutally kills them.
