YMMV / What Alice Forgot

• Angst? What Angst?: People are... weirdly okay with Alice having some sort of brain damage, and just assume that her memories will come back eventually.
• Funny Moments:
  • Alice doesn't like talkback radio, because the callers are always so angry and unpleasant and always claim to be "appalled" by something.
    Alice: I've never been appalled by anything.
    Elisabeth: That's appalling.
  • Alice initially thinks that the extremely hot guy who turns up for a personal appointment (actually her personal trainer) is a male prostitute... and reflects for a moment that hey, if she's paid in advance anyway...
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • The whole premise. You wake up, and you're ten years older and everyone you care about seems to deeply dislike you. And from what they tell you about yourself, you can't exactly blame them. Oh, and you now have three pre-teen children who are dependent on you to care for and raise them, even though you can't remember how to do any of that.
  • And on the flip side: you're a nine-year-old girl, and you find out that Mummy can no longer remember anything about you.
• Tear Jerker: Just as he predicted earlier, Nick can instantly tell that Alice has gotten her memories back by the way she looks at him.
• Wangst: The way Elisabeth absolutely goes to pieces (to the point of being on the verge of madness and suicide) over her infertility. We're probably not meant to agree with Alice when she complains that Elisabeth's overreacting, but...
