• Tough Act to Follow: Coming on the heels of the acclaim that greeted What We Do in the Shadows (which, for its delayed release outside New Zealand and Australia, was further compounded by the success of the also-highly-lauded FX spinoff series), most reviews of Wellington Paranormal, while by-and-large positive, have noted it can't quite reach the highs of the other Shadows works, with the procedural format offering less room for comedic innovation and outside-the-box plotlines.
