• Alternative Character Interpretation: Out of all Amu's friends, Sho is the only one who is openly disgusted over Kiki's behavior of often chasing Amu, which is often questioned by fans of Sho relationship with Amu. Does Sho see her like his own sister, since they have known each other since they were young kids? Does Sho also have a romantic interest with Amu, but since they have different religions he decides not to tell her and still act as her guardian?
• And You Thought It Would Fail: When still part of Webtoon Canvas, WEE !!! artstyle is not flashy like its other competitor and even rougher than the current series. While it still has some elements of anime and manga and includes some viral memes and popular reference, WEE !!! is mostly based on real-life Indonesian high-school students' daily lives. However, the webcomic has grown insanely popular due to its story,which is perfectly mixed between humor and serious topics and is easily understandable by viewers.WEE !!! remains popular with viewers to the point that it always stays in the top 10 chart of Official Webtoon Comic despite the series itself being on hiatus. The author itself admit she still can't believe WEE !!! will insanely popular that can rivaled with Korean Webtoons.
• Base-Breaking Character: Kiki. To some, he is a misunderstood teenager who has no idea how to understand his female friends and yet willing to improve himself as a person. Another faction believes that he is a Entitled Bastard creep who feels Amu is just for him and he deserves everything from her just because he has a crush on her.
• Catharsis Factor: After constantly ignoring his friend's advice to stop stalking Amu, seeing Kiki being beaten by Sho as punishment of his stalker-ish behavior really satisfied the fandom.
• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Enzo is widely loved by many fans despite his role as a Satellite Love Interest for Upi due to his Tsundere side toward her which make fans feel makes him a pretty unique example of the trope. Additionally Upi's ship with Enzo is also more popular than ships like Amu/Kiki or Upi/Sho. This results in Enzo making more appearances compared to the other side characters as fans are excited to see the development of his relationship with Upi.
  • A member of the Student Council named Umami is also well-liked by many fans, mainly due to her cool, intimidating, mature, and Proper Lady-side toward the main character to the point where Toro start to take an interest in her and wants to win her heart.
• Realism-Induced Horror: Sexual harassment is a nightmare to every woman. Amu almost gets raped and beaten, but luckily is saved by Sho. What makes it worse is that Amu was not wearing revealing clothes at that time since she always wears a hijab and a Muslim school uniform. However, she was still being harassed by an unknown person, causing her to be deeply traumatized. Which is extremely disturbing that these kind of people, especially a harasser or a rapist who targets children or teenagers who aren't even wearing revealing clothing.
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: Amu's mother is supposed to be seen as a petty and unsupportive mother who forbids Amu to become an artist and meet her biological father after their separation. However in chapters 120 to 122 it turns out that Amu's father was way too focused on his job as an artist, rather than taking care of their children during their financial issues in the past and constantly refused to try to search for another stable job to help their family.
