• Crosses the Line Twice: Lady Parts's song "Ain’t No One Gonna Honour Kill My Sister But Me". A song bragging about honour killing could not possibly be funny, right? The Disproportionate Retribution implied by the lyrics is too over the top to take seriously.

• Watched It for the Representation: That the show's main cast is made up of diverse (averting All Muslims Are Arab) Muslim women of color, and the writing focuses on how their religions and cultures affect their daily lives, was a huge selling point.
