• Badass Decay: Benjamin struggles with this. He's still a badass but his connections with the town are softening him a bit.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Benjamin drunkenly telling Jeff to not dye his hair green, and that it's a stupid thing to do despite the fact he did it to himself is funny, until later when it's revealed that he dyed his hair in memory of dead friends who dyed their hair green, and the scene loses some of its humor.
• Nightmare Fuel: Benjamin's hallucinations.
